Does Holly Longdale know about Guild Bank wipes?

I believe it is in the stat tab in the achievement window.

This happened when they released a patch. If Blizzard doesn’t back up their data before releasing patches, they need to get out of the business.
This is 100% not that they can’t replace all the missing items, but that they won’t. They’ve decided it’s not worth their time and effort, when instead of valuing the time and effort spent by hundreds of players collecting things for 20 years they can just put a new $90 mount on the store and rake in bucks.

The situation sucks. It should have never happened. I don’t mean to sound condescending but what did you all store in your Gbank that makes it this important (outrageous? Can’t think of a good word) other than consumables from a previous expansion that are worth 0 gold?

*Yes, it doesn’t matter what was stored. I’m just curious.

I lost expensive cosmetics we used for guild holiday events. And an entire tab of unobtainable stuff I’ve had since Vanilla.

But it’s gone, Blizz gave their response and that’s the end of it for me. I don’t know why people think that continuing to rant will somehow change anything.

4 full bank tab of pets that are now unknown instead of what they were. I have left them in there as i have heard if taken out and learned they vanish.

Fix your shiat Blizz!

Anything that wasn’t soulbound or account bound that I’d collected over the last 20 years. Materials from every expansion, consumables, pets, items/gear from holiday events. Part of the problem is that I couldn’t possibly tell you what all I had in there.

I am still missing tons of stuff from both of my guild vaults. they were both full and now about 60% full…

This is the kind of sour dragon compost that happens when a company DOES NOT HAVE BACKUPS!!

They know, their response was basically “Sorry we’re so incompetent and stupid, we’re not doing anything more at this point, now piss off”

Not quite. It’s about as common as a small indy company did not test their restore procedures. It’s very possible to have a backup but be unable to restore it - supposed to test for these things.

They admitted to not having backups.
