Does Fury feel as slow or slower than Arms to you?

I leveled to 60 (armory seems to be out of date) mainly as Fury, and throughout, i just felt really slow and laggy. Of course I attribute that to new expansion, losing epic gear from Ny’alotha. All pretty normal stuff.

However, reaching level 60 and replacing everything (albeit still low ilevel at 150-ish), I still feel pretty slow and laggy with only 10% haste (note, I’m just referring to the global cooldown, how long it takes ability animations to complete, ie rampage dragon roar animation etc.)

And then I switched to Arms. For a spec that is supposed to be the slow, but powerful style of play and Fury being the fast, rampagey style. Arms currently doesn’t feel any slower than fury. I’m also not rage starved as Arms like others reported from beta and overall, it’s just a better experience (except, I do feel more squishy)

I was wondering if anyone is geared from mythic dungeons, if the haste levels pick up and Fury does feel faster overall?

Arms has empty gcds. Fury does not.

Fury has a built in haste amp. Arms does not.

Despite this, I also feel like Arms is incredibly active most of the time. I haven’t played Fury yet since level 50, but with Skullsplitter and Dreadnought, it feels like there are constant rotational decisions to make.

I’m sure it can be distilled into a simple priority, but it feels active even when saving GCDs. There are very few times where I’m on a boss and there’s nothing to press without an interesting reason.

I have not run across any yet taking skull splitter. Although I haven’t been playing it at level 60 that long.

I agree, where as Fury, it feels like slow animations and slow gcd result in waiting more often for an animation to finish or my ability to land. And then couple that with Fury’s buff play style (enrage, siegebreaker) … It just feels as slow or slower at times than arms (at least IMO).

Haste/Mast are our go-to stats now in Shadowlands, so being slow won’t be an issue due to some baked in Haste building, along with gear stats, we’ll be swinging faster than a machine gun.

I leveled to 60 with Fury and it felt fine to me. Playing in Dungeons with Fresh Meat is phenomenal for always staying Enraged. Absolutely loving Fury currently.

My only issue is that Condemn is absolutely amazing but I didn’t really want Venthyr as my covenant. Door of Shadows is almost useless on a Warrior.

That’s why I have now 4 warriors… And will do the same for my shaman(s)

I went from >22% to ~6% haste levelling up to 60 (I never regeared/gemmed and walked into the Shadowlands fully decked out in a ton of worthless crit). I mean it was a significant slowdown, but certainly never Arms levels of slow. With 18% haste now, it feels a lot like it used to. Hell I ran 18% haste for like all of EP. Condemn w/Massacre & Fresh Meat honestly did more to speed the rotation back up than anything.

At least he’s not rolling 12 Warriors.

Four covenants x two factions…what are the other four for?

I was thinking 4 covs, 3 specs. But you’re right, there are 2 factions, so we might need multiple accounts to handle 24 warrior boys.
