Does it matter what weapon/heirloom I equip for a feral druid? Also do they benefit from enchantments (like fiery) placed on them?
Are there any feral druids out there? I tried google but everything says it’s old posts. They say no but has it changed since last year?
You will want a two hand weapon with agility. There is an heirloom staff that has agility. As far as enchants, damage based ones won’t work as the weapon only provides stats. You want one that procs a stat when used. Mongoose is a good example.
Assuming you are talking Classic, it is just a stat stick. Use whatever gives you the most AP. Str gives 2 AP, Agi 1. That changes a bit later when crit becomes important.
You cannot proc any item or enchantments. So, use an enchant that gives passive stats like the +AGI ones.
Retail is a completely different beast. Weapon DPS matters more than anything. For leveling, something like the Repuposed Lave Dredger is amazing to have. Enchant it with any WoD enchant except Mark of Blackrock. If you go with a MoP enchant, Elemental Force will rush you through content early, but get fairly bad later.
