Does Ez-Thro Dynamite work on Viscidus?

For anyone who has tried this does it work when it splits?

do sappers work? if so then yes it should.

They do on the globs.

I was told to jump with my sapper to get some spell leeway going. It seems to work, my sapper did 8,600 this week.

The crystals from ungoro do not. We tried to get some of our non engineers to get those and the globs are immune.

It’s a rough fight for alliance since there are no cleanse totems, can be done with enough coordination but is usually pretty rough.

Week one only 2 alliance guilds killed him while over 10 horde did on my server. The fight was designed around poison cleanse totems, or having 6+ druids with big mana pools and at least 6 mages to AE the globs as they come into the center.

If you don’t get him in 3 phases, its usually over, there is too much damage and cleansing to brute force through.

Alternative dynamite / grenades isn’t worth it, in my opinion.

I tried Dense Dynamite for example and due to the movement speed of the ads on Viscidus, it’s too much risk to time the timer of throwing the nade / landing. Out of an initial 3 attempts, both times I hit maybe 2 targets max due to the awkwardness.

Sappers on the other hand, immediate, and hits all of them without struggle. However, if you sapper - make sure you JUMP as you sapper to increase it’s range.

Basically, sapper only

Edit: Jumping when sappering is important on this fight due to the Terrain having a lot of “dips” and can impact the initial range of a sapper

You think they bring non-holy paladins?

Don’t need anything other than sappers and ideally 6 mages.

But your raid should be running 6 mages anyway for ideal ignites.

Has to do with your hitbox. Jumping gives a larger hitbox so more sapper radius

But with the massive amount of damage going out, most pallys need to supplement the priest heals to keep the raid alive. I’m talking if you do this fight with minimal poison removal consumes. You have to keep everyone alive. You need frost damage from mages and others with frost wands, then you also need enough physical damage alive to shatter him before the timer runs out. Most raids aren’t running 15 healers. The fight is a real chore on alliance side and must have extremely good mana management and coordination.

Or y’know… Those elixirs that have a 3 second CD and remove poisons.

Yep. That’s why you do a few attempts first and then when you’re confident have everyone blow their elixirs.

Just use sappers.

Are you sure the damage part isn’t working and the immune was just the stun? Can you provide a log?

ez thro is the only explosive non-engineers can throw.

ramstein’s bolts also work, so if you don’t need 2 heart of noxxion in your trinket slots, thats a small bit of aoe too, OP

Very easy to brute force it.

Mother’s Milk from LBRS. Reset stack C/D by moving them around and trading with people who don’t have any on them.

Literally has no C/D on how often you can use it. Macro it into your abilities. It won’t be used until a poison is applied.

Yea… you could struggle and bring 15 healers etc etc… Or you could spend an hour farming venom sacs and kill it while semi-afk…
