I make my own group and nobody whispers
I guess I need to delete this character and play a rogue since that’s the only class people play with apparently.
So are you playing on said hunter that is your forum name going for RFC im guessing?
The reason they arent grouping is because you are too low for it and they dont want to carry you thru. Pretty much it.
I mean rogues are more around than hunters so idk if thats gonna help. Honestly dont want rogues in my group either lol.
There is a stigma around being a hunter. I used to main one but as long as you show your worth you will be good.

Yes, Hunter’s are infuriating. Just had a rare blue 2h weapon drop that would have had me set for 10-15 levels as a warrior, which is already the hardest leveling in the game. But Hunter rolled need because it was an “amazing” stat stick. Of course he beat my roll.

I had one get the staff in DM… and cloak drops everyone passes except for the hunter and yes he wins it. Not to mention he was lv17 and being carried (I was 22 helping a friend). If it would’ve been me. I would passed but then again, I’m not selfish or greedy.
A hunter shouldn’t need on a melee weapon if a real melee class rolls need on it IMO

Hunters are notorious for:
- Rolling on every piece of loot that drops that they can equip
- Killing everyone in a a group with their pet because they don’t know how to play their class
So kinda yeah.

Well honestly having the insane amount of rogue is probably why you are running into this problem, well forming a group why invite someone that is going to compete for your loot?
Just start forming your own groups and you also might conveniently find it’s all caster dps for some reason.
As a feral Druid I did this also, sorry not sorry.

You are low level so thats the main reason, but do be aware that Hunters have a negative stigma because its very easy to misplay the Class compared to other classes to the point that it can cause a wipe, and Hunters just seem to be… very new.
Not to be rude but if you are trying to run a dungeon that you are too low level for in a 16 year old game many people may assume you are… very new.
Its okay though, I have similar problems on my Warlock. People tend to want Mages because Warlocks typically do low DPS in dungeons being a DoT class, and Warlocks tend to skimp on pet spells to save money, and the class requires a ton of micro managing which means anyone with low experience has terrible results, and having a pet means more for the group to worry about if I dont dismiss properly.
You have to make a name for yourself and prove yourself, and im up for the challenge. Its fantastic. Worse case scenario Hunters and Warlocks are the gods of leveling.
Enhancement Shaman say Hi, we are the most hated spec in the game. My mains I played were Shaman, Hunter, and Warrior since the game launched. I have an max level alt for every class during BFA. Quit a week or two into SL and only came back to do SoM because a buddy asked me to. The nerd rage I get as an enhancement shaman far surpassed any class or spec I have ever played.

As a hunter the only thing I ever try to need on are ranged weapons since I’m pretty sure a hunter can get from 1-60 just fine butt naked except for their ranged weapon. Being courteous about a weapon that’ll take someone far is always nice since your main weapon is really is the only thing you need to worry about keeping up to date.

17 as a hunter is not being carried. Hunters aren’t effected by the hit chance with a bow like other classes are. Hunters can go into dm at 15 and still hit things.
It’s why Hunters should always be killing things 3 lvls higher than them.
Also u are right they shouldn’t need on melee weapons but the cloak in DM is just as much for a hunter than it is for rogues or warriors. 6 agi is 12 atk power.

Warriors say hi for number 1 especially in classic.
Play a healer or a tank class and you’ll get groups really quickly.

When I make groups I usually will take a hunter. The only reason I can think of is that hunters can roll on everything but plate…and can usually argue valid points for needing the item.
Aside from that, hunters are usually chinese or bots.
Don’t forget the pet thing in dungeons.
I guess you guys really are a solo class lmao.
