In S1, you only needed to run 8 level 8 delves to fill the vault with max level gear. Is that still true?
If not, what reason is there to run 11s unless you have the extra treasure chest from the boss or…I’m not sure what.
yes its still true.
the reason to run 11s is for the 21 gilded crests, (awarded 7 per tier 11 for a max of 21 so 3 tier 11s)
bonus 10 if you use bounty in tier 11

Yup, tier 9-11 have increased crest drops but vault credit is the same as 8s.
If you can comfortably run the higher tiers you should because more crests means more upgrades faster, but if not 8’s are fine.

Run 3 11s with bounty to get your 31 Gilded.
Now your maxed out on gilded crests and can just spam 8s for vault
