Does delve difficulty change based on my spec?

I know in Torghast if I ran it as a healer instead of a DPS the mobs had way less health and hit less hard. Is it the same for Delves?

Yes absolutely, and it also changes wildly depending on which delve you do and which scenario you get. The delve difficulty level is essentially cosmetic.

Delves are designed around what is present. If a tank or healer is present mobs will hit harder, if a DPS is present they have more HP. I don’t think Brann changes this but if you are running solo it’s good to keep in mind that Tank will death grip with lasso, DPS will kick priority abilities, and healer will dispel.

Huh… I have just been running tank with bran as dps… i think i tried once as dps on a warrior and could not sustain hp so I swapped back to prot to finish.

I dont use items or bother with enchants/crafting and messing around though… I know I should but I hate that side of the game. Just let me play I dont want to do admin chores!!!

Yep, there are 3 level of difficulties in delves depending on your spec
DPS - Easy
Healer - Easier
Tank - AFK and watch youtube videos.

On launch of Season 1 Hunters were struggling because their pet was being counted as a Tank, which I believe was multiplying mob health and damage. It was treating it as if they were running with a party of 3 or something like that.

Yes. Some specs have it way easier.

Just as an example, my shadow priest takes basically no damage in delves and I can safely run Brann as DPS since I don’t need the healing. While my enhance shaman gets hit so hard by everything I need Brann’s potions frequently in addition to my own healing.

This was true last season as well and was true when my priest was significantly lower ilvl than my shaman.
