Idk if my pc is acting up or something to do with logging effects how pc runs during raids. Feel like its clunky during heavy action in adds or bosses
Logging has very little impact, live logging directly to WCL instead of uploading a file after the raid does.
Live logging just waits for the fight to be over with and then it uploads, so no it doesn’t have a special impact on performance. The combat log itself is extremely bloated compared to how it was in Vanilla. That’s why 40-man raids strain the fastest cpus. It’s not the log, just all the data being processed by the servers and your client.
Might be worth checking out your wow folder if you forgot one of your addons autologs though! Finding 4 years of logs was kinda funny when I realised.
Sounds like you need to lower your settings. In raids during combat, this is often things like particle effects from players.
I think there’s a setting to tone down effects from players other than yourself…and remember there’s an option to reconfigure graphics settings specific to large instances like raids, so you can keep your overworld configuration as-is.
The main things to do are check your weakauras for NPC models and turn your details update frequency to at least once every 0.5s, ideally nearer 1s.
