Can you bypass the attunement quest and enter BWL directly through UBRS without attunement?
no, im talking about walk through the portal in BWL basically when the raid launches, bypassing any attunement

Yes, if you dont do the attunement quest youd get the same “You are not attuned for this instance” message youd get if you tried to enter MC through BRD without doing attunement.

just gotta ask though, whats your evidence? did you actually try this in 2005 and get that message? or are these your assumptions?

I didn’t try it in 2005, it’s just the way the MC one works and I’m pretty sure it’ll be the same requirement. I don’t know why they’d have attunement if you could just bypass it

Nope. People used it all the time in Vanilla and people still use it for a quick exit when completing the attunement quest.
This is correct! You don’t even need to be level 55 to enter MC through BRD.
No attunement needed for BWL (or MC for that matter) to zone in through the UBRS/BRD portals. Attunement only provides you with a second, easier-access entrance. Worked the same way in Vanilla. Only limitation for BWL UBRS access is the player limit for UBRS. Thus, your raid would have to take turns standing outside UBRS and waiting for those inside to zone into BWL.

You can enter BWL without being attuned. However, you will need to enter through the entrance inside of UBRS.
The BWL attunement allows you to use the ORB outside of the BRS entrance to directly port you into BWL.
