Wow! Blizzard’s fresh release of battlegrounds has been a complete disaster. They grouped us with players from WoW SoD, where they were able to purchase 10g items for only 15s. The word is others got books, enchants, and other unobtainable items. This unfair advantage has soured the experience for many of us and created a long term advantage to any players that benefitted from blizzards failure.
After the SOD mail bug, and now this, I wouldn’t be surprised if blizzard employees intentionally sabotaged the releases to benefit their own characters.
The only way to fix this and make it fair is to:
- Drop the price of chronoboons in fresh to 15s, the damage is already done and players have made gold fortunes off crumbs. Taking away the boons will no longer solve that issue, but immediately dropping the price would blunt the impacts of this oversight with minimal punishment to the player base.
- Call in all the employees and don’t go home until the issue is resolved. Its actually crazy that this patch wasnt pretested and proven to work correctly. After all the bragging about new servers and how blizzard has learned from previous runs its disappointing to see wow classic is worse than ever.
Blizzard should immediately pull down the servers and give us the patch so we can actually enjoy playing.

What I find bizarre is that classic alone must bring in millions upon millions of dollars every month, yet they don’t have people on standby on launch days of new content? It’s just a company that takes the money and gives back the bare minimum because they can get away with it. They just earn the hate…

world buffs shouldn’t even exist now with all the ease of play classic is now since it’s been theory crafted to hell and back. The full-on world buff meta going into raids wasn’t a thing when it was current

It’s actually quite beautiful when you think about it. Oh how Blizzard have changed…
I definitely find that getting world buffs makes the game a LOT easier to play, kind of stupidly easily for what Classic really is (i.e. not easy).
I can’t remember, did they have Rend and Ony buffs when Vanilla launched originally?
I’ve been reading the forums for a while, but every now and then a comment like this comes along.
Blizzard never wanted to make Classic in the first place. So yea, they hate us.
