I love bgs and I love being social. I also love having a plan… something most bgs sadly lack. I’m no high tier pvp’er, but I like to try and my big goal is to get a five man to queue with and talk to on discord while we rack up wins (and marks of honor).
EDIT: Well, my dreams have been put on hold. I got a severe wrist sprain and PvP is looking painful.
how do you gear up for pvp leveling?

I am leveling this one right now . Figured that one spec of mage gonna be FOTM anyway in every expansion 
losing games isnt fun for me. what type of player base is ok with losing as long as they get xp?
I do it all the time. I have 4 or 5 main toons, the rest are leveling through bgs. It’s lots of fun and very doable. Go for finding that dedicated five-man team. I only do bgs now because I am not a dungeon fan at all but the current guild I am in is very very good and enticed me to do a dungeon the other day.
I lvl in only bgs once I hit lvl 20+, the 20-29 can be annoying but once i pass that I’m pretty much always top killing blows/carry games. Unlike most people in the 30+ me and the people i play with enchant our boa gear. Funny seen low lvl warriors in bgs without crusader because it makes a huge difference
Crates drop gear green that can upgrade to blue. Every slot on your character can be obtained through PvP crates. Rings, Trinkets at higher levels.

you cant get drops as fast as you level. you’re pvping with empty slots and gear from 20 levels ago. ill ask again.

And this is the price you pay for not turning off experience and taking the time to cap at X9 and running dungeons but again. You all want to PvP to level. I’ll answer again.
Your damned gear drops from crates. At higher levels you can buy gear from merchants in various cities, towns and zones across Azeroth.
You also have the Auction House.
youre using rings from level 10. “doable” sounds alot like “im lazy and dont care”.
yes because ilvl 40+ is clearly level 10. You also have BoA Rings and Trinkets.
I leveled as prot warrior half on and half off through PvP whilst tanking my way through dungeons. 
Now that character is ilvl 390.

looking silly? maybe armory hadn’t updated but you had 2 green rings equipped and empty slots. my point is you cant gear up just from bg’s. anyone who says they can/do are lying. i kill players like this 2 and 3 at a time solo.

I mainly RP on MG thus the gear discrepancy if there is one. My bags are loaded with BoAs but I gave up on mage for Prot Warrior.
I’m saying you can, the gear option is there if you are a sadist or masochist.
Sounds like fun! I’d love to join you but unfortunately I don’t think I have time to commit to something like this. The idea is great though!
Sometimes it’s fun to just hang out and play with new friends… the gear isn’t really what’s important, it’s more about the journey. I hope you find some more folks to do this with!
The part of the player base that doesnt spend time on the forums just to constantly whine and try to argue about irrelevant topics when someone’s just askin for new friends to do bgs with I’d assume.
