Does anyone use a shield besides pro pally?

Does any other class/spec? Holy pally? Anyone?

Also guardian druids. They hold the shield in their mouths and bash mobs over the head with them.

I know this is a joke. but i would be more intersted in playing a gaurdian druid if this were the case.

we can strap plate armor to mounts, yet a bear that is larger than some of them cant have plate armor v_v

I call discrimination.

Bear shield bash. Cost 30 energy. Fearing them for 2 secs. Break with dmg. 30 secs cd. Replace bash.

shaman and paladin are the superior shield classes imo. warrior… smh.

M ages do. I use an arcane shield! :sunglasses:

Prot Warriors and Prot Pallys use shields and have active abilities for them.

Holy Pallys and Resto Shaman wear shields but never actively use them.

I wish they’d use their shields for healing somehow. Like holy beam of light from your shield that radiates above you and drops golden sparkles of healing down in a 12 yard radius or tidal wave that sends waves of healing waters out forwards from your shield. Both would be channeled abilities.

Elementals wear shields too. Maybe they can get a wind gust that pushes mobs back like how typhoon works but I’d rather it be a damage ability. I can’t think of one at the moment.

Shields are for cowards, don’t worry about them. Find the biggest and sharpest weapon you can find and cleave someone’s head off.

Most fun I’ve had in WoW.

Prot Pali, Prot Warrior, Resto Shaman, Elemental Shaman, and we nearly had rogues with them as well. (Alpha WOW rogues could use shields.)

Couldn’t agree more.

Personally I prefer feasting on the life essence of my foes to sustain me.

Admittedly, it’s an acquired taste.

A very respectable acquired taste my friend. While I don’t go as far as feasting on their life essence… I do enjoy the occasional delicacies of cannibalism. Perhaps I’ll order some life essences the next time I stop at McGoblins.
