Does anyone know...?

What Ama’shan means? It’s nice to have a new title for the NE Heritage quest but i can’t find what it means anywhere.

Anyone know? Did i miss something during the quest line, it was weird to have it with Maiev and no Tyrande around, in fact for a heritage quest line the whole thing was a bit weird with almost no setup but it wasn’t bad. Just was surprised this is what was a heritage quest line without the leadership of the Night Elves to be found.

It means “giga-treehugger”

No, nobody knows what it means.

Apparently actually defining the super honored title they bestowed on us that we’ve literally never heard of before would have ruined the moment.

“ask me anything about honor”?

hmm … no, maybe not.

I went down a little rabbit hole and saw something stating ‘shan’ as honorable and ama seems to mean saved. So do with that what you will. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yea i don’t understand why it wasn’t stated to begin with, i’m not sure how many folks are gonna be like “let’s put on this title i have no idea if it means great poop or whatever”.

Then it sounds like the closest translation that can be inferred would be something along the lines of “Honored Savior”

Neato :]

Shan means “honor” or “honored” in Darnassian. In the context of the storyline, Ama can be surmised to mean protector. My bet is that Ama’shan means honored protector.

With that title my bear would love it.

Something along these two seems to be it and make sense.

well thank you, that was lovely… that is what it will be in my personal dictionary.

Now if we could just get a blue post to definitively answer the question then my life would be complete.

=)

They don’t know either. Blizz is waiting for someone to come up with something they like and then they’ll say, yes, that’s it. Wasn’t that obvious?
