Why are druid forms no longer available from mage tower? Aside from the (don’t deminish my accomplishments crowd), is there a valid reason I’m not aware of?
Not really, no.
The Druid Forms from the Mage Tower were just their version of Artifact Appearances, so their rules are the same as the rules from Artifact Appearances.
We can’t get the Mage Tower forms because no one can get Mage Tower Artifact Appearances, and no one can get Mage Tower Artifact appearances because Blizzard wants to promote bragging behavior.

If it still works, the current Guardian Mage Tower gives a Fel version of the bear-form. And there’s a version of it in DF Emerald Dream.

I have the fel one but I want that white one so bad. It’s really is amazing looking in game during combat it just looks so incredibly good. Shrugs… honestly just don’t understand why they don’t scale the thing up and let us have a go…just doesn’t seem to be any validity to keeping people from it.

The funny thing is that having MT skins is not even a flex. Many people have at least one and no one cares.
The stup!d thing was to make 36 challenges that required 12 max level characters and then remove everything at the end of the expac. Lots of people don’t even play the characters they got the skin on anymore.

Yea exactly. I don’t care what anyone thinks of my druid form. Lol…I want it for me not for anyone else. If it would make my time in game more enjoyable…I just fail to ever see that being a bad thing. To have it in game for us to see and then be like …oh…but you can’t actually have that …is just straight up silly.
I wish I could gift people the Mage Tower weapons I don’t use.
I haven’t touched DK or Warrior since I got them way back when.
As someone who has them and shiny feral completely open to them coming back. 8 years ago now I am lost as to why people are getting so hung up about it.

Nope not really, people will tell you it’s because of “prestige”, but in reality towards the end of Legion, it was not really much harder than a reward for logging in at a certain time, heck I would even say Slimecat was more of a “challenge” to get during Shadowlands S4 and they brought that back when they said they wouldn’t do that either lol, which was nice to see them do that instead of FOMO’ing it

I would wait until Legion Remix and see what happens with the MT.
For all we know they might just put the appearances on a vendor.

To play devils advocate: Blizzard made it very clear they were going away after legion. Gave people plenty of time to complete them, and toward the end of legion specs were so busted OP they were easy to get.
Whether of not that means they should stay gone, idk. But that’s the reason they’re gone. Plus I suspect Blizzard removed them because they were redesigning the specs and knew they’d never be able to upkeep/change the challenges every time they altered spec designs. Was too much work for a past expansion feature

They’d have so much additional content for minimal work if they’d take a minute and figure out permanent scaling behavior instead of manually tweaking thousands of abilities every time they do a squish.

Yeah there’s really not a good reason. The reward for doing challenging content when it is current should always be that you get to have the pretty new shiny thing before everyone else. Not that you should get it and then nobody else can, even almost a decade afterward.

It’s possible they bring them back in remix.
There’s never a valid reason to remove items from a game. Just my opinion.
