Does anyone know how Flurry Axe procs work?

Does it have an ICD? Can you bypass its ICD if you dual wield them? With tbc coming out I was thinking of dual wielding flurry axes on my shaman once i hit 42 just for the fun of it, but if they cant double proc or an ICD prevents them from doing it I dont want to waste my gold. I can afford a flurry axe for fun but only if it works with another one.

It does not have an ICD. You can double proc the enchants on them depending how many times you can proc that enchant per minute (PPM). The exceptional speed and additional attack proc is extremely good at proccing Dragonbreath Chili and Shadow Oil for example. I’ve been using two on my 60 Fury Warrior to mass AOE farm with zero down time.

so basically youre saying each axe has its own individual ppm and one proccing will not contribute to the others ppm limit?

Exactly

I’ve even seen 2x Crusader procs “stack”.

yeah. i knew crusader enchants could stack. i just didnt know if flurry axes could proc independent of one another

ive heard rumors that if you have more weapons with crusader and you get 2 crusader procs, you can swap to the other weapons and proc even more crusaders.

Yeah they proc independent of one another. Also, it’s not rumors, it’s possible to switch weapons and get a few extra procs for a longer duration. But most fights are not even long enough to pull that off I’m guessing.

Flurry axes? FLURRY? I thought it was FLUFFY. I’ve been playing my Shaman all wrong…

It’s good for a few specs. DW warriors, sword/board Shaman, Paladin tankers are the prime examples due to the wacky proc.

Now if the dang thing would ever DROP…

yeah im planning on having 2 ready for my shaman the moment he hits lvl 42, was jus trying to igure out if dual wielding them actually works.
