Does anyone enjoy leveling?

Opinions on 1-110 leveling

Not really.

But it’s my only option since the 3 toons are Allied Races+no money for boosts.

I just do it very very very slowly…

I’ve levelled 2 to 3 toons to max every expansion since BC, so me personally? Meh, I level in short bursts.

Now as for how levelling feels as it is on live servers, at this moment? Actually pretty good. Not too slow, not ridiculously fast. Kind of at that sweet spot. (If you use heirlooms that is)

Yes I enjoy it.

1 to 110 wont do it not even for an armor set. I do have 8 120s though and its rough to do it. Anymore I just hit 111 off a legion invasion then do the bfa invasions. So the last 5 110s will take a while.

I do and do not enjoy it. I have leveled enough toons that I have seen pretty much every quest a gazillion times. So the quests are boring.

However, there are a couple of zones I will always enjoy so it’s fun to revisit them. It’s also a lot of fun visiting the old dungeons that aren’t part of Timewalking. So while the grind is boring, those couple of zones and dungeons make it worth it

I actually haven’t tried it since the buff to leveling speed, but will be leveling a monk at some point so I guess we’ll see

I never minded it that much outside of like…levels 60-80? So if they’ve made that bit feel less like bashing your head against a wall then I wouldn’t mind the whole experience at all

I used to enjoy it. Now that I’ve leveled a lot of toons I start getting bored, especially when I get to the point where there aren’t really any different zone options for questing.

I’ve leveled a bunch of toons over the years and, depending on the day, still find it kinda enjoyable.
Sometimes just bashing out a quest hub while having a quiet ale is very relaxing.

I enjoy it when I have large chunks of time to spend in game and no clear objectives on characters I already have. That being said, I haven’t had a lot of time this expansion and I still have characters to level to 120.

Pre leveling nerf I loved it and that was about the only thing I did but I have not been able to force myself to complete leveling a character post nerf.

Depends on my mood. I actually know a few people that leveling new toons is their primary gameplay style.

I do! My exp is even paused right now

Absolutely love leveling. I have at least 30 characters at 100 or higher and I’ve leveled up every allied race from 20-110 and cant wait for more to release so I can continue leveling.

Depends. It feels awesome as alliance with a 30% buff + heirlooms. I was able to turn in quests and actually feel good about it.

On horde it’s only 10% and it’s a noticeable difference. I wish they would give a flat 30% buff to leveling and make the experience feel like it does on my alliance characters currently across the board.

I have times where I enjoy it, and times where I just can’t be bothered. I think I’m in the latter phase at the moment.

For me it’s a mixed bag. There are moments it’s great fun and other times it’s nothing but tedium. I try to vary the experience. Right now I’m having fun dual-boxing a pair of hunters through the leveling zones. It’s fun to see everything I point them at just get obliterated.

I enjoy it from 1-90. 90-100 is ok, but 100 -120 is just really boring. Im waiting for pathfinder part 2 to level any more alts.

With a good leveling addon and some podcasts it’s not that bad. It’s the terrible RP and story quests that really start to drag in the later levels, especially in WOTLK and pandaria. Once you hit level 90, Draenor and legion go by really fast though.

Right up until ~85 when I get my very last ability. Then it dips for me, gets even worse after 100 because it’s when I get my last talent slot. Can’t even choose where I want to level, for example I’d like to stay in EK/Kalimdor till 90 but I have yet again to go either WotLK or TBC for the 20th time.

Horrible experience.
