Does anyone else not like the Holy Light animation?

The animation doesn’t flow well with other casting animations. My character’s leg position pivots in an unbelievable, awkward and unrealistic way. I wish Blizzard would have just left it as a longer regular casting animation.

I think it’s the single best change they made to Paladin animations, ever. Remember this?

Fair enough, I would like if a lot better if my characters leg position was consistent with Flash of Light. If I go from casting FoL to Holy Light, my character quickly pivots leg positions, it’s awk.

It looks alot better on some races than others. I really don’t like it on my dwarf since it doesn’t fit very well with my FoL or holy shock animation.

It looks ok on humans though. This should be a great candidate for a glyph modification. I’d prefer the normal dwarven healing animation over the book.

As a huge fan of Warrior Priests, I really enjoy the new animation. Just wish I could read from the book of Light and hold my weapon up in one hand at the same time. THAT would be pretty epic.

Yeah, that’d be pretty neat. The book itself is pleasing - Blizz should’ve considered leg posture when making the animation. It’s just quirky, especially on belves.

I mean honestly. Cast Flash of Light, then Holy Light. Wouldn’t it be a whole lot more epic if my characters legs stood grounded in one place?

Edit: also when an enemy is selected your character should hold the weapon in two hands instead of running with one. Like charging into battle

I am a huge fan of the holy light animation especially the foot posture and hand raised in glory

I really wish they’d made this the animation for Flash of Light too. As a Ret Paladin I feel left out when I only get to use my book when I’m casting Blessings. :-/

Watchu talkin about?

The animation is great. What you’re a paladin and don’t whip out your libram to say an inspiring litany to heal your allies?

smh
