Nothing beats sitting in front of a 50 inch screen, except larger tvs of course.
I have a really nice monitor but if it ever fails I would love to plug it into the tv.
I have my Alienware laptop connected to the TV and use it like a consol. Play games that are better suited for xbox style controls on it. Like being able to brows internet and can log into any of my apps like Hulu easy enough.
70" 4k TV.
Unless it’s a high dollar tv you’re gonna have input lag and frame cap of 60
My monitor died so I’m using a 43" samsung until I replace it. Waiting on black friday for a decently priced 1440/144
I do not, big TVs like that were not made for PC gaming.
I have 2x 27" monitors and a 65 inch TV hooked to my PC.
When I watch a movie usually on 4k, I use the 65 inch TV. When I play GTA4, I also use the 65 inch TV. When I replay my recorded videos of beating 5-Mask Vision or Heroic Nzoth, it’s on the 65 inch TV. Also, when I rewatch my recorded video of Greater Rift 90+ of my Diablo 3 toons, it has to be on the 65 inch TV. Also, I watch streaming of StarCraft2 of my favorite Zerg players like Serral and Reynor especially when they smoke out Clem. I have to see them all on 65 inch TV. It has tons of use.
But on WoW, I usually use one of the 27 inch monitor while other apps are open on the 2nd 27 inch monitor. Like when I join a group on Dungeon Finder. The other monitor is opened to see the rio score of people so I would know if it’s worth it to stay with the group or not. I also investigate the damage meters. When I am on top, I look at the 2nd best DPS’er and open his armory and rio to compare myself. I also look at other hunter’s rank on the Damage Meters especially when he has beaten me and I look at his armory and rio score and sometimes his warcraft logs to investigate how he has beaten me in damage meters.
And my pc is also hooked thru Chromecast on another 65 inch TV on the living room. If my wife or daughter wants to watch a movie on the living room, I just cast it from my PC. I can cast to any TV’s on the house from my PC but I usually do it on the Living Room as the Living Room has awesome 5.1 Surround Sound just like my PC.
