Case in point lol

We used to have a sheltie who has sadly passed. He would tell people donât even look at his lawn. Heck donât even come down his street. XD
Iâm sorry they passed away. They sounded like quite the character.
Sounds like my dog. For a little mongrel, he sure is fussy.
The last buddies I had were two male rats years ago. One of them in particular liked napping in my hoodie as I played. Just snuggled up in the hood part
Oh man I bet that was interesting! Did you have the hoodie turned around backwards and they were in the hood or were they in the pockets?
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I want a kitty to take care of
Oh they would be in either of those but this specific rat just preferred napping in the hood part. I wear mostly zip up hoodies so I couldnât really do the wear it backwards thing. He didnât mind.
Back when both him and his brother were very small they could both fit in one hoodie sleeve. Just a nice way to bond when theyâre young and getting used to your smell
Local animal shelters or petsmart! (petsmart adopts out via local shelters). Most shelters already have em fixed too, all their shots, all that before they are put out for adoption too which makes it nice!
Omg thatâs so adorable. You had 2 buddies to aid ya!
Pity I couldnât really watch over both of them when they were adults. One was a chill sleepy chubby baby and the other was nice but also very âoh the chaos that will happen if you leave me out of your sight for two secondsâ lol
How much chaos can one rat cause? jk jk I imagine quite a bit XD
They both learned how to chew thru the corners of their cage when it was plastic. THAT was stressful lol. Just keeping them safe and occupied in like a empty fish tank until we could set up a fancy big metal cage.
Oh god HELP you if they manage to get their grabby hands on something they want in the cage.
When it was cage cleaning time Iâd put both of them in a small obviously temp container cage. Welllllllllllllllll a blanket I really liked was juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust close enough that one of them grabbed it and then proceeded to pull most of the stuffing in the blanket into the cage and they were playing with it and making a little nest with it.
I really liked that blanket but I couldnât be mad at them for my mistake lol.
Oh no! XD they sounded like quite the handful. They are like:
Reference above gif xD MINE MINE MINE haha
Yup that is the rat mindset. You could give both of them a treat and theyâd end up trying to get the treat the other one had.
My first rat also figured out how to open her cage door. We had to put little clips on her doors
Her name wasnât Brain from Pinky and the Brain right? She sounds pretty smart.
oh no =(
Oh, sheâs so gorgeous!
My Boy, Sylveon, has to be on my knee as much as he can, which makes playing anything difficult, because heâs 9kg of fluff and chub! Or he watches me from my bed! Heâs the âKick-Back Kingâ.
Little bit of trivia too with rats. A LOT of the time if you see a rat in a show or movie. Theyâre likely girls. Theyâre a bit smarter. Well that and male rats have. um. obvious things showing unless you neuter them. But even then male rats turn into heckin chonkers once neutered lol
That is one big kitty! He is cute though!
I had to convert that to pounds and thatâs same as 20 pounds! That is one chunky kitty!
Iâm watching the vid now. That is so cute so far. I didnât know that about rats in movies and shows but that does make sense.
Also rats donât squeak as much as media thinks. They only really make noise if theyâre hurt or playing a little too hard and they have to make a noise to let the other one know âokay thatâs enoughâ.
I get why some movies add in little squeaks like the recent suicide squad movie. There were two rats actually in that with cgi just kinda helping for stuff like paw waving.
Just wish they lived longer. 2 years is the average
