I feel it just clutters rogue. The only spec that should have it is Sin, and even then I’d rather it just be a random proc.
Yea, I’d honestly rather do without it.
It’s a very unsatisfying way to use Combo Points and feels like a bit of a silly maintenance buff. The only positive is it makes Rogue a little more tricky, and it’s clearly supposed to be a more complicated melee spec.
Yes, especially on Sub. I feel they got lazy just adding it to all specs
My “sin” rogue rarely uses it.
Honestly, I look out for sliced and diced fruits at fresh markets especially if I’m consuming them day of. Just much lower maintenance and prep time required.
Sin actually uses it well, paired with envenom
I didn’t realize it was so prominent until I leveled an Outlaw rogue, it feels very out of place. I hope they get rid of it
I can see it being a mess with Outlaw due to it already having A LOT of expenders, more than the other two specs
idk how it is in Sin but its good on Sub though, usually refresh it during the CD windows when my Shadow Dance isnt up, the dmg i do outside of it is already low so might as well put out Rupture and SnD, which still reduces the CD of SD
Interesting to see people not like Slice and Dice.
I personally think it used to be an amazing combo point spender Vanilla - Cata, but after they moved away from auto attack damage in MoP I have to agree it does feel weird to press.
The thing is that it should have Replaced Roll the Bones (people hate that thing) rather than being put together with it

Outlaw has one spender. Dispatch. It’s the one spec that SnD doesn’t clutter unnecessarily. Also the conduit for it is Outlaw’s only sustain since they don’t get Leeching Poison for some asinine reason.
Slice and Dice is pretty bad. I’d love to see it gone (again.)
The problem is that maintenance buffs are annoying as a concept. They can sometimes be meaningful skill checks (not S&D though) but they’re never fun. I want a buff that makes me feel like a god when it’s active (wings, Combustion, etc), not one that makes me feel like crap when it isn’t (S&D.)
You forgetting Between the Eyes, and also Kidney Shot
Sub does have more but due to the nature of the spec Kidney Shot loses value to Cheap Shot.
So Sub is mostly Eviseration, SnD and Rupture
While Outlaw is Dispatch, SnD, Kidney Shot and Between the Eyes.
I think it should stay on Assassination, since it makes the most sense, applying the poisons faster, but it really should be removed on Outlaw and redone on Subtlety
Between the Eyes has a long-azz cooldown now, it’s not like you have to press it every five seconds when you get a PS proc like it was in BfA. Kidney Shot isn’t even rotational, and it’s not an Outlaw exclusive spell.
But its your only real stun, since Outlaw and Sin dont have easy access to Cheap Shot besides Vanish that is a long CD.
And a Stun is always good, specially if you use the talent that increases dmg on the target.
I wish envenom refreshed it as before.
should just remove it and make it passive something like when using swords/mace your attack speed is increase by 20% to 25% (not sure what the number are) and when using daggers your crt chance is increase by 25 to 30%.
Also could just make it a cooldown rather than a point spender.
