Oh my god it’s the most dull thing on the planet.
I don’t think this this, or MMOs in general, are the right games for you. Go play a MOBA where you go from base to full power during the course of a single match.
Or, I hear candy Crush is pretty good.
There’s the condescending forum goer.
Late game is cool. Killing 10 boars and clicking on 5 items on the ground for 10+ hours is not.
No, I love questing and leveling to be honest. It’s fun to mess around and not think. I think most of the time I’m on this game when I’m doing things like M+, raiding, or arena. But leveling? Crank on some music, or a series on the second monitor and just chill out.
Could lvl through dungeons or bgs, bgs might be slower but for me it is more fun than questing.
If I could without hindering myself, I would level through bgs till 60 when SL releases but ofc Blizzard is making me do the stupid quest chains to unlock certain things.
Same problem but worse. You level on an endless loop. It never stops in MOBA. Every single game is level up, be strong then restart every game!
It’s like the most super repetitive waste of time because there is no end. Kinda a thoughtless reply suggesting a MOBA.
I dont have much patient to lvl up but i lvl’d an alt when pre patch released and is much much better now
i used to ONLY pvp on this game and would avoid most everything else if i could. i never got wod or legion pathfinders despite playing both of them for a majority of their lives for example.
Chromie time has me more engaged in leveling through quests though, world pvp in zones of my choosing while getting phat exp. just wish the fixed dungeons ques to be truly random.
I don’t know how it is now, but before pre patch, i loved to run dungeons to level. dungeons are what got me hooked on this game. Speaking of which, does anybody know if dungeon spamming is still a effective way to level?
Maybe try doing it with a friend. I’m dungeon spamming with a friend and we’re both having a lot of fun together.
That’s a luxury I don’t have I’m afraid
how is dungeon spamming compared to before prepatch?
Its fun once or twice at most for me ![]()
A lot more people are tanking. I mainly play between 8et to around 10am, and I find myself waiting no longer than 4-8 minutes for my dungeon to pop.
It think it helps that lower level characters seem to do a lot of damage by comparison. You’ll have a level 12 join and do 80% of the overall.
is the exp decent?
For me it varies. For a class I already play at endgame - I dislike it.
For a class I am new to I really like it. Getting a level feels rewarding as it feels like I’ve unlocked a new power level and have gained access to things.
One thing I have liked about the change IMO is it has encouraged me to play classes I have not tried before and it’s working - loving Balance druid.
Depends on fast you go and how much you play, it’s possible to hit 50 in 2 days. Probably quicker if you have a full 5 man of friends and rush it. I’m getting at least a level each run(with dungeon quest)
I’m not a fan of leveling, no. The one time I really did it was in WoD when leveling in dungeons was like taking a ride on a rocket ship.
Yep, to be fair I’m tanking dungeons so my queue times are faster so I level faster than a dps would
(ignore the first level, made before prepatch)
You do have to deal with other players though. BRB’s, people pulling and making the tank alt+f4 (
), low dps, sleepy healers, etc. I would also strongly advise not doing BFA dungeons because new people can only do BFA whereas oldbro’s can do any other content.
This is why i’m enjoying it so much. I’ll probably start leveling alts on another server, just because.
