Does anyone else find themselves treating DPS players like second class citizens?

There are just SO MANY DPS players sometimes i dont see them as players anymore. I see their requests to join my keys pile up and i just laugh looking at all of these dps.

I lead lots of groups and find myself kicking DPS players for silly reasons, like cringe transmogs, asking for a summon, talking in chat while not top on the meters, having an eating macro etc. They r just so easily replaceable! Even when i do low keys i refuse to invite dps that sre below 2k… Just cause i know so many will sign up

I should start being more aware of my actions and that DPS are people too, but man they have the easiest jobs and they still struggle, how can you not be pessimistic towards them?

That’s a really unfortunate mentality to have and you sound pretty unpleasant to group with.

Work on that.

Well I kick everyone out if it’s been 5 minutes of waiting at the summoning stone and nobody comes to help me. It doesn’t matter the role though.

If all four of you want to sit around in Valdrakken, good for you, you can keep doing that instead of my key. lol

As obvious as this trolling is, there is a shred of truth in it. Even getting invited to a group feels like a victory sometimes.

Sadly, im not trolling this time

lol
Well, sadly, your sort is THE reason why I stopped wanting to move into higher content and just started enjoying the game solo instead.
So, kudos to you. You got what you evidently wanted…to kill the motivation of a player who actually was doing pretty well moving up the ladder until I ran into too many of you lol

Especially with the amazing timeways portal thing that puts you really just outside of the zone.

And you just know one of them is a warlock! Haha…ha… :eyes:

They’re a dime a dozen so they’re easily replaceable.

To a degree, I can understand being somewhat picky. Dps have the most slots in group content, and I think people tend to play dps specs when they’re leveling. Wanting a good comp of dps is sensible, esp since so many characters are dps.

That said, I thing the transmog take is definitely off. Prob should focus more on the dps’ performance over appearance. But that’s just my take, and I am but a simple gnome.

Ive done this too. It takes like 20-30 seconds to get to each dungeon now and I always go to the dungeon before putting up my key/group. If a pug is that lazy it makes me worry that laziness will extend to the dungeon/interrupting/doing mechanics. Better safe than sorry - there are a ton of other people ready and willing.

Ofcourse if someone’s hearth is down and they are stuck in somewhere meh that is a different story.

on one hand I agree the DPS aren’t real people.

But on the other hand you should be nice to them. the same way that you’re nice to stray animals.

did I make it more offensive or less offensive I’m not sure.

dps in high keys have the hardest jobs. But I know this sentiment well.
