I finally caved and bought dragonflight. Was all excited to play a Dracthyr and they’re just so goofy. How am I supposed to take them seriously? For lack of a better term, where is the bada** factor?
They feel like a weird cartoon character. I didn’t even make it out of the starting area.
Also, why do the visage forms look so anime? The hair is especially anime looking. They’re so oversmoothed and clean. There’s no roughness to them
Idk, Dracthyr are just not what I thought they’d be
Because when you’re magically transforming yourself from a lizard-monster, you can spend a little extra time on making your hair look cute.

I find them really goofy lol but the humanish form is good and has lots of customization options.
Yeah I don’t like them visually.
They’re lizards, only a small minority of people find lizards attractive in the first place. They have coarse, sharp skin, they stink, they eat nothing but bugs, they’re disgusting, they’re stupid, etc, etc, there is almost nothing redeemable about a lizard other than they are colorful lol… But whatever. We live in literal La La Land these days, people see and hear whatever they want.
Dracthyr look awesome if you actually customise them and put some effort in rather then making a Naked White Abomination.
Visages are awful though and time used on it would of been better used on other races that are still lacking options with Dracthyr instead picking a race from their chosen faction as a visage.

I tried, I sat for 3 hours trying to customize mine and I just couldn’t ever get a “serious” looking dragon

Didn’t try hard enough behold my Gothvoker who I played before going back to Mistweaver.
Even though I think they’re ugly, I appreciate their presence in WoW. They definitely belong in this game.
Exactly like most of these “oh Dracthyr look bad” people usually have Dracthyr that look like that hidden Dracthyr that freaks out during Forgotten Experiments if you activate him

I so thoroughly love the Dracthyr form. The heads could be bigger, but with the larger horns it evens out enough.
Cannot stand the visage forms, and that’s a deal breaker for me. It’s the whole package that I gotta love.

They look and move like gungans.
Dracthyr are fine. But they should have been released alongside Drakonid.
My word would be ‘clunky’… slow, … prefer to move in the human aspect… still slow… kind of like ‘boomkin’ in a way. I like the spells mostly… again a bit slow, but the ‘dragon from’ is just ‘clunky’… my opinion… I have one …
