Does anyone else try not kill cute little creatures in the wild because it reminds them of their pets?

I have a puppy of 17 years :grinning: (I know that’s old for a dog, but she’s doing great)! Anytime I have a quest to “kill this or kill that” I always try to spare the wildlife as much as I can, especially the yellow-named ones. I often see my puppy in many of these creatures. It pains me when there’s casualties :grin:

My all-time favorite quest is " Those Bears Up There" where you have to save the bear cups from the trees. Wish I could do that quest over and over and over: https://www.wowhead.com/quest=29161/those-bears-up-there

I tend to not even mount up, unless I need to.

I kill everything in my path from A to B.

That was a daily back in the day, or at least it was in rotation. I did it every time it was up.

I can’t help that my holy nova also wastes whatever little critter is around me.

It makes me a bit sad when I see how my aoes killed the adorable critters nearby.

Prot pally is just a whirling storm of death for critters in the world.

If your spinning hammer and consecrate don’t get them, divine toll cleans up the rest.

And you didn’t even know it was happening.

I love the little babies, I even named my orange tabby “Boots” in game to let him live on.

I do avoid killing the lil’ things when I can. Some classes are violent by nature, demon hunters commit acts of critter cruelty by either fel rushing and also by immolation aura.

Nah, they will respawn infinitely. 'Tis but a disruption in their daily routine.

I do laugh at all the squirrel and rabbit corpses that are always by the training dummies in Stormwind. Natural selection…

Every button I press sends out storms of random damage in every direction. There’s collateral damage.

I try not to kill the little critters if at all possible. The quests that have you kill a certain amount of neutral critters for food I will not do. Every time I go into hallowfall and I come accross Scrunge, the stray, I have to Pet him…

I can’t help but stomp critters as I see them. To squeeze with a bare foot press down down down until the life ends; smoosh out the juice.

I used to farm that dog in stormwind castle who was a blizzard employee cuz it was good gold
