The people that rolled ally instead of horde for PvP specifically because of Q times are malding really bad at this point.
Dumb choice imho. Should have dealt with it if you wanted to be horde but didn’t want Qs instead of taking the perceived easy way out and rolling the weaker PvP racial having faction.
As a data analyst IRL for the past 8 years, I’m confident they have virtually every piece of data about the game and its players you could imagine.
But also as a data analyst I know how these things tend to go. I left my previous organization because they would frequently tell me to “use our best numbers” when reporting certain metrics about the organization. It was basically code for “we’ve made up our minds, now give me the data to support it and ignore the rest”. And that’s typically how it goes. The conversation behind that blue post was likely something along the following lines.
Higher up: Can you get me some data that supports same faction BGs?
Analyst: Sure.
Then the analyst pours over the mountains of data they have and sifts out everything that doesn’t align with the strategic objective and gives the higher up the data that does support it. And that’s how companies end up woefully out of touch with their customers.
I play ally and horde so who are they catering to in that scenario bud?
They’re trying to fix a problem that needs to be fixed. I think everyone 100% agrees that 1 hour 30 minute ques need to be addressed.
Maybe you don’t agree with how they fixed it but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a customer problem. It is a customer problem as we are all paying customers after all.
