With the amount of interrupts, stuns, CC, and gap (closers, melee) have now, you won’t get a chance to free cast chaos bolt very often unless you get a quick cast proc or are somehow completely ignored. Most videos I’ve seen, you’re mostly keeping up immolate/wither, using shadowburn on CD, conflag, instant cast incinerates, and quick casts of soulfire.

It was just buffed. It might hit significantly harder with conquest gear or it might need another buff. Either way, you should be casting it as other abilities modify how hard it hits.

CC is crazy out of control. If you go 1v2, or 1v3, you will never get a cast off. Its just perma CC.

My honor geared warlock is hitting for 1 mil with it. And I’m not specced into the consuming immolate dot to boost its damage either.

Seen a lock in AV machine gunning bolts hitting like 5 people over and over pumping damage. Seemed strong. I was like hey cut it out, get that guy or something.
