Does ANYBODY know who Sabellian is?

(Answer first, then please type your argument)

I don’t. And before you ask, I’m siding with Wrathion. Here is why:

(Oh, and be prepared for WoW politics. You have been warned)

Wrathion, unlike Sabellian, has given us and our characters, the one thing that Sabellian hasn’t. That would be purpose. Mortal purpose. Yes, Wrathion has freed Garrosh and unleashed the Legion, but he has informed us of such a tactic that, if we DIDN’T know, more lives would have been butchered by his hand and the Legion.

Also, guess who did the same thing? You guessed it. Illidan Stormrage. And despite a second unchaining, the mortals still pulled through and defeated them. Again. Oh… and we have forgiven Illidan. As crazy as that sounds.

So let me ask you ladies and gentleman this. Wrathion knows of us and our power. He knows what kind of devastation we could unleash if we were to embark on a path of ultimate chaos. Even if we were to by choice, he would no doubt stop us out of discipline. Perhaps he would ALSO give us a chance to rehabilitate ourselves.

Sabellian? He doesn’t know us. He’s been hiding in Outlands. Our respect for him is the same way he gives it to us: Slim-to-none. Oh yeah… and if you guys claim that Wrathion is power hungry and arrogant… wouldn’t you folks say that Sabellian, who literally comes out of nowhere, wants to claim the throne for himself? I’m calling hypocrisy shenanigans.

I’m hoping they use Sabellian as a way to make Wrathion realize he needs to “step up” and mature a bit if he actually wants to lead.

The position of Aspect shouldn’t just be given to him, he needs to earn it.

Right now Sabellian looks like a grown seasoned man compared to Wrathion, we’ve gotta put em through the grinder first before he becomes a leader.

I’m voting for Sabellian because he has a cooler sounding voice.

vaguely remember sabellion…glad they re-introduced the character and go into more depth with him…

he’s cool, and dragons compete for dominance, so i expect him and wrathion to battle it out (similarly to politicians i guess)…

at the end of the day though, wrathion gave me this awesome cloak and helped me with Jina’Kang…so he’s gonna be my vote :100:

no duh? i’m saying i remember reading a long fanfiction about him, meaning i know perfectly well who he is

If fanfiction is not canon then you wouldn’t know perfectly well who he is.

If it wasn’t for Sabellian I wouldn’t have hunted down and ended the bloodline of every last son of Gruul.

You mean the guy who single handedly saved the black Dragonflight and created a new breed; freed the black Dragonflight from the corruption of both the fe and the old gods; is selfish for wanting his birthright?

Wrathion is a shoe horned poorly written Jack Sparrow and Sabellian is a long lasting champion of the black Dragonflight.

i’m starting to remember why i have you on ignore. being intentionally obtuse isn’t a cute look, just fyi

As a said in the other topic, Wrathion is more popular because he is hundred times more interestant, funny and charismatic character than someone who we barely heard aboud for many years and is a boring character and also similar to many others we have already.

Do not matters what Wrathion did in the past and also do not matters if Sabellian looks like a wise leader (i still don’t trust him). Wrathion is much more unique and engaging character, also he is on Dragonflight loadscreen with the other aspects… I think there is no doub about who will be the blackflight aspect.

So what Sabellian SHOULD be is a mentor, rather a leader or aspect. If his intentions were to save the Black Dragonflight by escaping to the Outlands, his experience to face a problem head-on would be lackluster.

Wrathion opened the problem up like a nut and had us face the problem. The moral here is, without conflict we perhaps wouldn’t be where we are today.

Okay bye. -1 arrogant user on the forums. Go ahead and make us both happy.

I don’t like Wrathion as a whole and I dunno who the other dude is so no one.
Like, I like Wrathion for his personality, he’s fun, but immature and got Varian killed so I’m still mad about that.
:dracthyr_a1:

It was Sylvannas’s betrayal that led up to those events.

You need to read up on Sabellians actual lore. It seems this is the first time you even knew he existed
