So trophies DID exist, in some form, and have continued to in all our order halls and capital cities. We’ve had collectible “pristine” artifacts since Pandaria, tier set displays in Legion, and achievement statues in our garrisons.
Now, with warbands, I hope Blizzard finally gets to implement their original idea, and maybe bring forward our old stuff.
Basically, as I understood the original concept, bosses and rares had potential to drop trophy items you could display, like Nefarian’s head in Org. The idea was cut from Draenor, and presumably a handful of low drops in old raids from this addition were converted to jukebox discs.
I would absolutely love something reminiscent if the main building in Assassin’s Creed 2, a private area that just has a huge display of all the significant unlocks you find throughout the game, as well as some made up just for said hall.
