Does any one remember the correct DR's?

I can’t tell for sure but it sure looks like Bash (druid) is on the same DR as charge stun…

Is this right? That’s what I was observing in a dungeon today, and that just looked a bit off…

I thought Bash, Hammer of Justice and Kidney shot all shared the same DR while Charge stun and Cheap shot were on their own DR.

With RNG stuns on a completely different non-DR stun.

Am I remembering this right?

Can anyone else test this also? I will be testing again later.

Stuns, all of them, always shared DR with eachother.

The only exceptions were Kidney & Cheapshot. This is because rogues were the “stun” class, and their stuns were an essential part of how they functioned (both their pve utility, and that they were liable to lose a fight in which they didn’t get any stuns in pvp).

That said, I believe that charge was taken off the DR in mid / late vanilla. This being because it had such a short duration, but I do know that intercept has always DR’d with most stuns.

Charge stun and Cheap shot were indeed on the same DR.

Kidney and Hammer of Justice were most certainly on the Standard DR. I do remember Bash also being on the standard stun DR.

As I remember it Charge stun was still on the Cheap shot all the way though Wrath (arena memory on this one)

RNG stuns like mace spec had a totally unique category.

The concern was Bash appears to be on the Charge stun DR and that does not seem correct.

No, they were not.

Cheap shot and kidney are their own DR. Go look at Wrath, and subsequently Cata, patch notes. That’s when Kidney (and CS in cata) were taken away from being their own unique DR’s, and put on the general stun timer.

You’re saying EXACTLY what I said…

This is its own unique category…

This is a separate category of stun; the standard stun DR.

My friend went mace spec for a week and said it was putting his other stuns on the DR, so DR tables are obviously very off. He respecced soon after finding this bug.

Ah ok so its not just me finding this sort of stuff…

The more and more of these kinds of bugs I see the more I feel it was a massive mistake using the modern wow server code.

Yep, this is correct. RNG stuns are supposed to be on their own thing.

Back in vanilla, Seal of Justice was the only ‘interrupt’ I had. It wasn’t guaranteed, but on a 3.6-3.8 speed weapon, the proc chance was high enough that it was almost reliable. So I remember vividly being able to repent, hammer of justice, and seal of justice all independent of one another (disorient DR, controlled stun DR, RNG stun DR) - my whole ability to PvP against casters hinged on it.

Ok so my memory of this stuff is correct indeed.

I do feel Blizzard needs to revisit the DR tables and correct the problems.

When you couple this with “break on damage” CC’s not breaking instantly on damage like they’re intended and DID in actual vanilla it’s a wonder things are even playable for a lot of people.
