Does any of you ever randomly create new character to play starting zone quests?

Player characters in BFA, at least according to the lore (not according to the actual idiot who struggles with spiders in Drustvar at lvl 120), are far too powerful now.

It no longer has that… RPG vibe where you are a wanderer thrown to a whole new challenging world, walking a step a time to the goal.

But when you go back to Durotar/Elwynn and start taking quests from town guards hunting coyotes and boars, that RPG feeling which immersed me during the early years of WoW comes back. Of course, I can do those quests with characters that I brought up from other starting zones. But they will simply one-shot the mobs. Anyway, just a random nostalgia kicked in middle of the night.

I do. I might do this once a year or so, usually when the expac starts to slow down. I do it for the very reason you just mentioned; to enjoy the fresh start, anonymous adventurer feeling.

It’s one of the reasons I keep a f2p account on each battle.net account.

I usually level those characters to 20, tmog an outfit for them, and try to end up with a couple of 16 slot bags and the rest at 12. I pvp with them as well.

I’ll probably roll a DH and DK on one of them to check out their new starting stuff in SL.
