Does Acid rain interrupt node caps?

At work can’t test, trying to figure out if I want to include healing rain in a BGB build

I would think so. It does damage!

DoTs don’t stop flag capping, just direct damage. Unsure how acid rain is categorized, but you see some wild stuff like disintegrate or crackling jade lightning not break the cap, because it’s a DoT mechanic.
