for me classic is just so much more fun than any of the gameplay features that retail or 8.2 offer

I personally watched the trailer for it and some of the stuff that the YouTubers are talking about and some of it looks pretty interesting but I literally just can’t get over titanforging and forced personal loot and just the RNG lottery that that entails.

I feel like I’ll never be able to play retail again without that changed.

Which it probably never will be and I accept that

Got kinda burned out with BFA, now I’m just waiting (patiently) for Classic to launch. Don’t hate retail, it just doesn’t “do it” for me that much anymore.

The reason why my character is naked is because I vendored my gear and uninstalled in Dec. So 8.2 isn’t bringing anyone back.

Stress test got me extra thirsty for more. So thirsty I got on retail and couldn’t last more than an hour.

Much like the rest of the MMO genre its better at the end game. Still not all games will appeal to everyone.

What’s 8.2? Isn’t Classic launching on 8.26? I know we’re getting name reservations on 8.13 I believe. What’s happening on 8.2?

I’m not normally one to pull the “wrong forum” card. But other than saying you like classic better, what does an entire post about retail have to do with classic?

8.2 doesn’t move my needle one darn bit. I unlocked Kul’tirans, now I’ll just wait for the 9.0 leveling revamp Blizz accidentally spoiled to level mine.

It’s one of those games I can see it’s a fantastic game but it’s not for me

Retail WoW isn’t for me either though

I am definitely closer to playing FF then BFA

OP is using the . to indicate versions of the game not differentiate the date. In this case 8.2 is for the patch 8.2 which releases next week Tue.

I don’t delete my characters out of a nieve hope that the game could one day get good again

Yeah, I mean that’s cool and all… I guess I’m just one of those old-timers that played the game back when you just earned mounts in the game by playing it and paid for them with our $15/month subscriptions.

I know it’s weird to think of.

Idk man just think how great classic could have been if the black AQ mount was $500 along with the quest chain
