With the raid having a good aotc mount, I was wondering if that social thing still exists. Not carries per se, but they do help you get the aotc mount.
I first heard of them for bfa, but didnt hear about them in SL.

Don’t listen to the troll(s). Yes, the group still exists. It’s not called the same thing anymore since that wouldn’t make as much sense, but they still do the same thing every expansion. They’re on Discord, called Perky Pugs. The only section of their Discord they update regularly anymore is the Events/Announcements section, which is full of doing old raid achievements and stuff to help those out that never got them, as well as getting groups together that have a focus on things like getting the new Druid skins from the Emerald Dream. As far as I know they’re planning on doing the AOTC mount runs for this raid, as they have a sort of “practice” LFR session scheduled for this weekend.

Perky Pugs, they were who did the Friendship mount runs, not seen them offer one in a while. They are still active but perhaps not doing those anymore.

There will be groups that will set up runs for people to get the AOTC mount without having to pay for it. I think Perky Pugs discord is the place to stake out for that.
Perky Pugs still exists and did runs for the SL AotC mount. They likely will do runs for the DF AotC form.

It’ll always exist in some capacity, although I’d expect a waitlist or something.
Friendship moose was a thing because EVERYONE in the raid got the mount for AotC. Now, it’s a chance to drop from the clear. So, no, I doubt it exists…
They’ll probably do it again, but you will not be seeing any Friendship Moose stuff for a long time considering there’s like 30 guilds that have killed Fyrakk.
And most won’t go back after getting AotC, even for more gear. Lots just want the achieve and don’t actually care about the loot because they aren’t going to try mythic and they don’t care about the minor and brief leg up they’ll have at the start of the expansion next.
You will probably see some pop up in a couple of months. Takes a bit for everyone to get geared through the teeth (and boss nerfs) to carry players.

Well actually there are a few reasons to go back on Heroic week after week.
- Legendary Axe (probably will unlock once someone kills Mythic Fyrakk).
- Mount Skin Chance
- Omni Tier Token
- Very rare trinkets which are on Myth Track on Heroic (like Augury of the Primal Flame is BiS for many specs and absolute BiS where they go up to 489 ilvl)
- Corrupted Weapons (Shadowflame Suffused Tag)
Yeah, some will. But most won’t, and that’s just a fact of life. It’s been that way since AotC started. Some don’t want anything more than the achievement/title/guaranteed mount that used to come with it. Now you have to farm for a CHANCE at a mount? Kinda don’t blame them for not wanting to continue beating their heads week after week. I mean, I will, but that’s because I like trying to get everything I can. Don’t speak for everyone though.
That’s Mythic mounts, not AotC ones.

Sorry, I should have said dragonriding form change glyph thing. It’s still the equivalent of a mount without giving you a mount collected number in your collection book. Still a chance, it’s not guaranteed.
And I would almost bet that the mythic owl is still a CHANCE that I couldn’t care less to try and farm.
That mount skin is basically the Mythic Mount, its 100% chance on Mythic to drop, on all other difficulties its 1% ish.
You still get a mount for AotC.
