I dont mean lore on the servants of the Titans like in Ulduar. I mean lore on the individual titans themselves. Like which planet they were born from. More information on their personalities and what they got up to while they went around shaping the universe and stuff. Truth be told, we don’t actually know much about the titans. Sure, we know tons about Sargeras and a bit on Aggramar, as well as tiny tidbits about Aman’Thul and Eonar, but what about the rest? Golganneth, Kaz’Gorath, and Norgannon are still pretty huge mysteries at this point. We haven’t even heard them speak yet.
Well, y’see…
Khaz’goroth was born from Khaz’goroth, Golganneth was born from Golganneth, Eonar was born from Eonar, Sargeras was born from Sargeras, Aggramar was born from Aggramar, and Aman’thul was born from Aman’thul.
Hope I cleared that bit up.
It could be interesting to see what remains of their planets and if we are going to need to put azeroth in a medically induced coma to survive.
I would have liked it if there were more worldsouls out there. Perhaps those in the progress of being corrupted by the void, others being claimed by the light, or just others that are in remission.
That really remains a possibility. Azeroth was the last and strongest titan soul the Pantheon ever found, but Chronicle states that even the Pantheon knew they’d only ever managed to actually explore a tiny fragment of the vastness of creation.
Theoretically there could still turn out to be countless other slumbering world-souls out there. Perhaps even other active titans so removed from the corner of the Great Dark where Azeroth, Draenor and Argus are that they never crossed paths with the ones we know.
Lol that much is given. But I meant more in terms of what that planet was like. The civilizations that lived there. The history behind them and so on.
I’d rather not. Titans have been forced down to every single race on azeroth, except maybe the Tauren. I’d rather explore the cultures of the races of azeroth than dive into a space adventure. We already have good sci-fi franchises.
No more titans please
not really.
they are boring as hell, and incompetents, more than any other race.
i wonder what is the next titan prison that is going to be a raid.
I’d rather not.
Warcraft lore was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better off when stuff like the Titans and the Old Gods was more mysterious.
Before Void Lords, before World Souls, etc.
Explaining everything like that just took away from a lot of the mystery and fantasy of the setting imo.
Not really. They had to link so much stuff to the Titans already. I would prefer more exploration or lore or worlds entirely unrelated to them.
When they revealed that the Titans created the Orcs specifically to destroy forests is the point where I stopped wanting more Titan Lore.
I kind of want more lore on entities that have existed before the Titans, like Aluneth. Mind you, I’m not sure if Aluneth pre-dates the Titans, but his comments certainly made it seem so.
In small doses. There’s a couple more things I’d like to see before I could say I’m wholly sick of it.
-Seeing Tyr. Whether it’s a vision of him in the past or meeting his ghost, I’d enjoy seeing or meeting Tyr at least once.
-Uldaman redux. Uldaman is kind of not up to par with the rest of the Titan facilities we’ve seen. I don’t recall if it was plundered entirely over the centuries since the Dwarves and Gnomes emerged or if there’s more to the facility buried deeper down in the earth. I’d like to see some kind of update to it at least graphically to bring it more in-line with the other Titan facilities.
-Whatever the hell is beneath Bael Modan. We have some kind of Titan facility with supposedly a couple dark creatures lurking within… right underneath a Quilboar graveyard where Agamaggan fell… that’s been taken over by elements of the Scourge. That sounds right up my ally.
I was disappointed Throne of Antorus didn’t have us going to all the various Titan homeworlds.
They way that bit of lore should have worked out was:
As Sargeras killed each of the other Titans, their World-soul returned to it’s original world to try and rebuild a new body, but the Legion would show up on each of those worlds, and imprison the World-soul and use it to power some machine or system that enables some aspect of the overall Legion war machine. Like Kaz’goroth’s soul is used to power all the forges that the Legion uses to build it’s greatest weapons and warships, Aman’thul’s soul powers the time device that keeps bringing the Legion back when they’re killed, etc.
So then, when we get to Argus, instead of those Invasion Portals just connecting to 6 random Legion worlds, it connects to those World-soul worlds, and are us softening up those worlds defenses.
Then the Throne of Antorus raid instance would be like: The first wing is us breaking in and seizing control of the portal network. And then the next several bosses is us teleporting from world to world, killing the Legion commanders and destroying the machines that are imprisoning the Titan’s World-souls and dismantling the important parts of the Legions war machine. Shutting down the forges, destroying the device that resurrects them, etc.
And then you have the final confrontation to free Argus’ World-Soul, which is the one powering the portal network, and then all of the Titan’s souls combine their power to imprison Sargeras as normal.
I WANT ULDUAR RE WORKED AND RERELEASED.

As long as its not the Light vs Void Story writing. I’ll be happy for more Titan Lore and different unique lore that is fresh and original.
There are 4 wow story subjects, Human Potential, Night Elves, Titans, and EVIL HORDE.
They all suck.
Nah, I’m tired of Titans in general and I hate how most races have some sort of connection to them.
Even better question(s): Who named them? Did they name themselves? Or did the natives of those planets named them? What if the natives decided to call the planet Poopsie-toots? Are they stuck with that name forever?
