After all the races have had their heritage quests should their be another round which would cover other cultures within the race?
An example could be the wildhammer clan for the dwarves.

I mean, I enjoyed Chapter 2 for the blood elves… The Dark Iron one was a bit less detailed, but it did include a good dog and my current favorite hammer, so yeah.
Would like to see more of those. After the crew still waiting gets their heritage armor, anyway. (Undead, night elves, draenei, trolls).
I don’t really like the concept of heritage quests so I wouldn’t look forward to any of them having a part 2, or more beyond that.
What would Vulpera be? A new song on Meera’s jukebox?
“The day Dolly and Dot became my best friends.”
I’d personally rather just get like the race equivalent of class halls, but instead it’s about all the races rebuilding now that we have peace somewhat. Let’s see how the worgen are doing with Gilneas. Let’s see the Forsaken rebuilding Lordaeron. Check in on the Night Elves after everything that has happened. What about the Trolls? It would be cool to see what’s going on with them and maybe get a questline where Vol’jin comes back.
Something that world builds and shows us what is going on with the playable races would be awesome in my opinion.
No. That would take up too much time with undesirable filler.
Blood Elves should rightly have 20 quests for their multifaceted heritage, and classes, before the rest are even a concern.
Or like, we can Alternate. One Blood Elf quest per… one quest for one of the other rabble.
I want you to know I did a full on raised eyebrow over that, Curse.
WAIT FOR MY TROLLS FIRST BEFORE ROUND 3 DANGIT
I would love to see Allied races getting a more fully fledged heritage quest line similar to what main races have gotten like Worgen and Blood Elves. This time for Void Elves who appear High Elven/Darkfallen and provide more details on who they are and why do they fight on.
Major lore updates similar to what Blood Elves got for their Heritage armor and later the Shadowlands update. Ideally Mechagnomes get another heritage questline and same for Lightforged Draenei, and Zandalari.
I would just like to see a real effort to finish up the remaining races that don’t have theirs yet before I even think about (more) races getting their double dip.
I really want the draenei heritage to channel that nomadic wanderers in exile look they had in some of their original TBC concept art. Maybe a head-slot item that gives them a permanent blue Naaru glyph above their forehead.
Exactly! Draenei need a major lore update and the Night elves too. I think it’s good orcs and humans are getting their story, but let’s be frank the Dwarves/Gnomes did not get anything as good as Worgen/Blood Elves. The main races need major heritage questlines especially the trolls. I would love to see big changes in the lore for all the main races, and when those are done the Allied races need love too especially the ones that haven’t been fleshed out. The Mag’har deserve an update other than they’re brown orcs missing Draenor.
Do you know what Chapter 1 was for most races?
Name, you have been an exemplar of our people.
Here’s your armor.
Yeah that was my experience. Ding you hit 50 here’s your heritage gear. Next. I feel it was definitely lackluster compared to other races.
The Sindorei got invited to Argus in order to behold the lamentations of Aethas and the drama surrounding his muffin.
At least Orcs had that little pithole with a Broxigar monument. Yes, Orc should have had more. Blizzard decided the Horde’s involvement in Argus would be a Sindorei muffin heist world quest. Blizzard could do better about racial diversity in their story.
Le sigh. At least the Sindorei got an invite to the party, and were there.
I think the goblin one was my favorite. Story got moved forward, fun scenario, looks pretty good, familiar characters.
The fall of Kil’jeaden should have been a joint Draenei/Orc story line. The two societies most directly devastated by his scheming. Because, yes, The Rise of the Horde was the end of both cultures on dreanor
If anything the Draenei have bounced back from the events on dreanor admirably while the orcs still struggle with their metaphorical demons; constantly striving to reconnect with their old ways and falling sort.
Argus should have been one big blue muscly arm, and one big green muscly arm doing that Arnold from Predator hand-shake flex meme. Instead we got Velen and Illidan on a buddy-cop adventure with Khadgar as the comic relief in the back seat.
Not to beat a dead horse but… Worgen sort of got screwed with theirs.
Their heritage set just looks like a fancier version of the Nobleman’s set. It looks like little effort was put into it. The only part I like is that they have the part that wraps around their shoulders like Genn has. But I still think their heritage should have been some cool Van Helsing style long coat.
The quest itself destroyed any racial pride a worgen player might have because Tess says the worgen curse sucks, and doesn’t define them as a people (despite 10 years of lore where Genn and worgen NPCs say otherwise.)
But I agree with everything else you said. I hope we continue to get heritage quests/armors for the other races who don’t have them, and I hope each one gives a nice lore update on what’s going on with said races.
Yeah that is true and at the end Tess didn’t even become a worgen so that’s another problem to the narrative. I feel like the only race that got a good heritage questline were the Blood Elves.
Yep, nothing says racial pride like the heir to your racial leader saying what you are sucks and chooses not to be like you. Love it, Blizzard. Cause as we all know worgen players pick worgen to play humans…
The worgen heritage made sense, but only in the context of them actually harping on it being a curse, which… they haven’t at all. We had the stories in Cataclysm, then years of no Gilneas stuff at all where the worgen just popped up with no reference to how worgenism is supposed to be this corrupted and twisted form of Druidism. So the heritage quest acted as if they’d laid out groundwork when they hadn’t at all.
In that vein, I don’t think a chapter 2 is really something I’d want to see because they basically ignored/did nothing with the ramifications of them afterwards. Hell, the Tauren one had the lore it was built on retconned the very next year. Only the Goblin one had any real impact, but they can’t seem to decide if they wanted the chains to advance the race’s story, or just be a little definitive side thing.
Honestly the only way I would be fine with the current Gilnean heritage quest was if we got a follow up, or chapter 2 as you say, that focuses on certain Gilneans who want to be worgen.
Maybe have this take place if we do end up reclaiming Gilneas, maybe Lorna chooses to become a worgen to follow in her dad’s footsteps and so the next heritage quests builds on the fact that half (though I think more are worgen than aren’t) the Gilneans are worgen while the others aren’t. So maybe Gilneas moves to a council type deal where Tess leads the humans while Lorna and her father lead the worgen.
