To me it seems super bloated in all the wrong ways. But I am not sure that it is hard, but can make it seem neeslessly complicated when its not. IMO

Anything readily and easily accessible is too easy and group content is too hard.

Depends on what you mean. Like you could play tank and get R1 titles, or play a broken spec and climb easier than under tuned specs. Unless you mean the game mechanics are easy, and in that case you could play easier specs like tank in the solo brackets to get titles that generally aren’t challenged.
So, I guess it depends on what you mean by easy because you can make things easier, or make things harder by playing specs like enh, and arcane mage.

I’ve played a ton of other games and WoW has always been the easiest to me.
Concept of arena is trading CDs for CDs and pairing CC with damage
Most specs are like 4 button rotations with long CD buffs.
Not to mention awareness is completely supplemented by third party addons, lol
Korean mmorpg mechanics dunk on this one.
Wow is the most polished and cleaned up game tho

Im able to mouse click spells on a few classes to 2100. Id say no its not super hard
It is super extremely easy, just go queue sync premade epic bgs and we stomp everyone ez win.

This is arguably the most complex game you can play rn and you need weeks if not months to fully learn it from scratch. From a business perspective to draw new subs, the game should be simplified if anything. If you’re pvping, which is why you’d be posting here, then “too easy” translates as “I beat other people too often” - and that’s at best a jab at the player base.

I think FFXIV actually does this too. It’s a super homogenized game to the point I played all 4 tanks and just had the same abilities in the same binds because they just play 90% the same and its a super easy game. Even the harder content like Savage was mostly chill and doesn’t compare to higher M+. Not sure about actual raiding since I don’t raid, or ultimates since they didn’t appeal to me
Arenas are prob a fustercluck for anyone that just picked up the game and leveled to 80

Nah this happens in every pvp gaming community I’ve seen, especially if the game has a legacy user base that gatekeeps new or returning players.
No matter how difficult the game is to the common person, there are a group of people who will say “game is really easy lol” by disingenuously cherry-picking examples like “just play bm hunter or fury warr and w key lol” while ignoring all the mechanics and nuances that are required to get glad or whatever. And that’s the “easiest” specs and classes with a specific comp or strat being presented.
So, moral of the story- it’s pointless to ask if the game is “too easy” or “too hard” as it’s sort of a neckbeard thing to always no matter what say your game of play is “easy”. I’ve seen communities in games such as Mordhau, Quake, StarCraft, Escape from Tarkov, etc. claim their game is easy. Present a super simple scenario disingenuously and use that as your argument.
Actually easy PvP game examples made for the common person: Marvel Rivals, Call of Duty, The Finals, Fortnite Zero Build, etc.

I mean playing those specs makes the game easier, but asking whether the game is easy or not is a pretty useless conversation. Like easy in what manner? You’d need to dig deeper to find an answer and then you realize that “is WoW easy” is a pretty bad question to ask.
assuming you mean arena and rated pvp: no, I think it had mass appeal and should have made itself a lot more accessible / easier than it did
but I feel like ppl who say “wow is too easy now” are ppl who quit because leveling didn’t take a hundred days played
