Do you think there will ever be a fire spec

The original 3 death knight specs are great, and frost really works with the old arthas lich king, but the new lich king is on fire. do you think they will ever make a fire spec.

no. this is for real. i would love a fire spec.

New lich king isn’t lich king anymore.

So if there had ever been a chance, the window is gone.

But death knights have never been described ever as masters of fire. So even then I would say never been a chance.

i completely forgot that the helm of domination was turned into the crown of wills. i had to watch a video to remember

in my head, it was restored and bolvar was still the lich king.

i guess, my next question, is what is happening to all the ghouls that the wearer of the helm controlled as lich king. i thought there always had to be a lich king.

man, as a person that love lich king lore, im feeling quite embarrassed i misremembered so much

The ebon blade are handling the scourge at the moment, or thats what they should be doing since they arent doing anything else.

If there is ever a fire spec at this point, it would be fel fire to represent death knights raised by warlocks (1st generation) which, don’t happen anymore. This also takes from demon hunter themes.

So no I don’t see this happening at all.

I can understand why there was hope back then — the idea that DK powers could have been ‘renewed’ through some high-intensity necromancy granted by the Lich King, (like some powerful necromancer has done before), That could’ve led to a fire spec or something along those lines…

But honestly, that window has passed like tanakar said.

What I would say is that DKs should have gotten a healer spec — something like a plague healer. Or, we should’ve seen a change in how DKs work today…

Blood becoming a true DPS spec, Frost being able to tank, Unholy going dual wield… or maybe even Unholy shifting to be more of a ranged spec than it already is — giving us a truly ranged variant.

Anyway, those feel like more realistic changes for today
