Since Blizzconline was really Blizzcon 2020, do you think they will have a real, genuine Blizzcon in Nov of this year? I’d really like to go.

I doubt it. I also don’t think Covid would be fully under control by that point.

hmm, who knows. Blizzard are based in California, and they locked down harder than almost any other state. They also had worse results than almost any other state, and as a result their leadership have to ride this thing out for all it’s worth.

I’m assuming we’d at least get another online version, even if it was also delayed by a bit.

I’d argue new york had it worse. Texas is also noticeably getting some of the more mutated strains of it ( because of course it’s bloody texas )

Because if you look up the title of the section you quoted, it reads:

The 2020-2021 flu season isn’t over yet, so they don’t have data yet.

Also does January - april not count as 2020?

Your claim that the flu just ceased to exist once covid started is false.

Your probably only one in a handful that will want to go. The way Activision has treated this expansion and a solid portion of the player base.

I for see a lot of empty seats and lack of sales if one does go forward.

What little good will remained towards Activision/Blizzard is all but gone now.

Sorry to be a killjoy but I don’t think many are going to give Activision much love after this expansion.

The pendamic kicked in mid-march. Me myself got laid off that week so I remember exactly when most of us got hit.

Flu didn’t cease to exist, the reporting of flu does.

People go to blizzcon no matter the atmosphere of the games themselves, it’s more of a meetup at this point then just a game convention.

What’s crazy is that NY had it worse than any other state (including the politican’s/fox news’ favorite scapegoat, California) even with falsified numbers…

I can only imagine what the real deaths per capita covid figures for NY are if they didn’t lie or withhold the actual death counts.
