No. Never. They blew their chance not once, but twice. First with TBC, and again with WoD. I suspect it has something to do with the females, since none were added in WoD.
At least Horde did get goblins.
Considering they originally had planned for Ogres in Cataclysm then changed it to Goblins, I think there is atleast some thought that Ogres will one day be playable, when is another total question.
I personally would create a Ogre, I’m a Horde Main and yes I believe there is a demand for Ogres, I’ve been wanting Ogres to be playable aslong as I can remember.
I personally support more core/allied races through and through.
I just think it really comes down to “when” Blizzard decides to place them in game and what would the Alliance counterpart be to balance it.
