If we even get them as an AR (which I don’t really think is likely). I just think it would make more sense rather than just being partial to one side.
No they should be Alliance …
But at this point “The horde is waiting for you”
I’d say neutral like the pandas in that you can pick your faction buuut… blizz has an issue with race splitting
I think Sethrak should have been paired with Vulpera really. It seemed they missed exploiting the war-campaign story as Alliance tries to befriend Sethrak besides the whole helping their leader.
They’d make sense neutral too nonetheless.
They will be hostile to everyone.
I think having them as neutral would be nice as they’re so requested and would allow the alliance to play them as well, as I don’t see them going to the alliance if they’re going to only join one faction.
it makes the most sense that they would be neutral. but the nightborn should have been neutral too.
For me, sethraks can even be a playable horde race.
It’s better to be at least in the horde than to be abandoned by blizzard.
Blizzard has already said it has no interest in neutral races like pandaren so far as it dislikes the result.
Sethraks would be something welcome to the alliance, but if it is impossible for blizzard and for the stingiest members of the horde such a thing to occur, then they are in the horde, along with vulperas.
And that’s the feeling that does everything the alliance has received in BfA so alienated from its players, in an expansion in which patriotic pride should be exalted ( Faction Pride ) but makes only the ally be encouraged to go to the horde.
No they shouldn’t. It wouldnt even make sense. Just because you guys think you deserve a “cool” model doesnt mean the setherak is the one you should get.
Sethrak should definitely remain neutral, though Horde does more with them so if they had to go Horde or Alliance, Horde makes the most sense.
Honestly, I want them to revisit older allies. Make Jinyu and even Ankoan an Allied Race for the Alliance. Potentially Hozen for Horde.
I hope they aren’t neutral, I like to picture a Sethrak with a vulpera tail hanging out of it’s mouth and a REALLY full belly
They should be Horde.
The Voldun questline was about the Zandalari (Horde) and the Vulpera (Horde), along with the Champion (Horde) helping the Devoted getting rid of Emperor Kor’thek and restoring the Avatar of Sethraliss. As well as trying to stop the summoning of Mythrax, which was a failure though. But anyway the Horde killed him later, and I’m assuming Uldir was beaten canonically by the Horde, as it closes up every stotyline in Zandalar.
No.
They will never make another neutral race again. It was a bad idea, in Panda Land.
No. Another neutral race would be bad juju, in my opinion. I dislike the idea of them. Sethrak can go either way they want. Logically, the Horde restore their loa, and help them take down the faithless, and have interactions on good terms with them for the entire second half of Vol’dun. And their close relations with the Zandalari in regards to faith and such would mean they should go Horde.
If Blizzard wanted to shoehorn a reason for them to go Alliance, I wouldn’t care so long as it made sense. But I dislike the idea of any race being neutral. I’d much rather they pick a faction, stick with it, and establish themselves within it. The Pandaren are a good example of a neutral race gone wrong because they have very little impact on either faction in any story. Since MoP, we didn’t even see them till some involvement in Legion, which had nothing to do with the factions. Come BFA? They do nothing with neither side other than have some fluff dialogue.
Sethrak wish they could be as cool as Iksar. Or Saurok for that matter, so I think I’ll pass.
Would have been cool if all the allied races were neutral, well save for the Zandalari and Kul’tirans.
They shouldnt be alliance because it would make no sense.
Horde liberated their people, restored order to their lands and saved their god.
Alliance are pebbles compared to the boulders of horde assistance and involvement.
They were never meant to be a great source of interaction to the alliance, they were made as horde content just as the drust was made for alliance content.
But why?
What did the Alliance do for them that the Horde didn’t? They’re on the Horde continent, so why would they be Alliance?
And I doubt it, OP. Blizzard didn’t like having Pandaren neutral because now their story is forever stagnant. Now, eliminate the stupid factions and it no longer matters if they’re neutral or not, they can just be a playable race.
They saved their leader’s life? Check Wowhead’s guide:
Currently, the sethrak are being utilized similarly to the Nightborne, with no heavy bias towards either faction. However, the quests are not identical between the two factions. There’s some subtle differences that are worth mentioning, which indicate a slight Alliance bias.
