Originally, when they gave all races /forthealliance and /forthehorde emotes, you could emote from the opposite faction. Of course there wasn’t a soundbite for your orc doing /FTA, but the text would still appear in chat that you were cheering for the Alliance.
A few weeks later, Blizz removed the ability to do that, and the emote comes back as an invalid command.
Now that I’m playing my first Horde toon solely for the vulpera and feeling like a traitor, I wish I could somehow communicate to fellow Alliance players that I am one of them and support them. It would be cute flavor, IMO, to promote that you don’t support your faction’s actions. What, just because I’m an orc I have to be Horde? What if an independent orc decides they don’t like what the Horde stands for? There’s a deeper conversation to be had here, but really, I’m just sad I can’t /forthealliance on this toon.
