They have stated the release schedule which is two months for every phase.

If this was true then Firelands would have been released in July/August not November!!!

Phase 1 has lasted almost 6 months May-November
Phase 2 is being estimated to last 4-5 months November - March
Phase 3 will most likely last 4-5 months to.

I truly hope not, Dragon Soul was 1 of 2 content droughts of OG cata, but a major one, coming at 11 months of DS, all but made a huge population dip because of it.

Blizz already made a blue post about Phase 3 not launching in January and it is launching later.

Actually, the developers clarified in an interview that it was a half-phase, not a full phase. If you search online, you’ll find an interview on YouTube where the developers discuss this if you do some research.

I’m not here to argue… it was labeled a phase by many sites online. Other than not having a raid it was a phase. Since the new 5 mans were “old raids” it does seem to count as a hybrid phase.

Just because a website claims something, it doesn’t make it a fact. Indeed, two heroic dungeons do not constitute a phase, a point which the developers have confirmed themselves.

With how bad Cata is / has been, I would assume they would rush Dragonsoul to get us into MoP quicker.
At this point I would assume Cata is also not generating Blizzard much money and with how dead the community is I don’t see Firelands or Dragonsoul saving it.
