Do You Think Dracthyr Will Get A Heritage Set?

With blizzard adding Heritage Sets to old races, I was wondering if Dracthyr would get one too. Not that they really need one I suppose, since you can’t see transmog in dragon form, but it would be nice if the Visage form armor matched with the dragon form some adjustments might need to be made to the leg armor tho…or I guess lack of leg armor in this case if it becomes a transmog. if it doesn’t match, maybe we can get new barbershop options to go with it instead. besides, I like to collect new Heritage sets when I’m bored lol. I have all of them but Mechagnome and Kul Tiran at the moment.

With 10.2.7 Troll and Draenei are supposed to get theirs, which means every race but Pandaren, and Dracthyr will have a heritage set. even the Earthen have one already, and they haven’t even been released yet lol.

I know Wowhead made an article about a datamined armor set with recolors that matched each of the Dracthyr’s armor colors a while back, but as far as i know it hasn’t been used yet, and just because it exists doesn’t mean it will be used. seems like it could be a potential heritage armor if it ever does gets implemented.

maybe this is just a pointless post, but I’m bored and wanna hear your thoughts on this… unfortunately I’m not a mind reader, so text will have to do.

I don’t think we really need one. We have barbershop armor and you can’t see most of our transmog in Dracthyr form anyway. I honestly dislike having to show shoulders and belt in Dracthyr form, because it doesn’t match the barbershop stuff well at all.

I think we just need more barbershop armor eventually someday after other races get more customizations.

Very true, but the heritage could be in the barbershop too. in theory at least.

then it doubles as a cool armor set, and more armor customization for the dragon

IF they do it’d be dead last on the list I’d imagine, although it’ll either just be a fancy outfit for the visage as Blizz doesn’t care about letting the dracthyr’s true self wear anything more than shoulders and a belt outside barbershop armor

they’ve been doing 2 at a time so far. so Dracthyr will probably get it with Pandaren if they get it at all i think.

forgot about the neltharion armor, i wonder when (or if) we’ll get that

Heritage armor or not, I hope they expand the barbershop dracthyr armor eventually. Would like to see visage adaptations of the barbershop armor too.

It would be great if they got a heritage armor set that actually showed in their draconic form. The barbershop armors are freakin horrible. They don’t match anything and are gaudy as all hell.

Honestly, they need to do away with the barber shop armor crap. I want to mog my Dracs and actually have them look good in said mogs. The barber shop armor is just…bad and feels bad.

If you want the option to have transmog shown, that’s fine and that should be an OPTION. Not a deletion of what I like.

i think it can work, but blizz would have to give it a lot of attention and add a lot more armor pieces, and colors as time goes on to make up for the lack of transmog, at least a little. they definitely won’t, but they should if they want to keep it the way that it is with the barbershop. imo anyway

Pretty sure the lackluster selection we have now is what it’s gonna be for the foreseeable future.

I had an idea of expanded visage with a heritage armor quest line

Imagine getting a quest that has your drac choosing their visage by doing a quest chain that has you committed to a race and their culture, ending in your second visage.

Then the heritage armor you get is that race’s.

Kinda how like ebyssian is committed to the HMT

I feel like the questing gear + the dracthyr armor options even the forbidden reach gear is their heritage set

considering you can’t even see half the slots on drac’thyr I’d consider adding more armor sets to be a waste of development time.
