I’ve bounced a bit between mage and warrior over the expansions but always come back to this guy. Anyone else still main one of their vanilla characters?

Posting as my vanilla main right now. And when classic drops I’m just going to recreate him. Obviously I’ll have alts but it just feels wrong to main anything else.

I’ve had 5 accounts since TBC, i can’t even remember emails for old bnet accounts and whatnot…illegal substances and a devil take all attitude will do such strange things

This was my main from Day 1 of launch up until I stopped raiding in Wrath. It’s still identified as my “main” but as I don’t play the game much at this point, that attribution doesn’t mean much these days.

Nope. This character was my vanilla main and it would be absolute sacrilege to level her.

I switch mains few times per expansion. My first main still is special to me, he was the only toon I leveled to max in vanilla, and learned a lot on him, but didn’t really play him much since wotlk. He’s a dwarf rogue, the best race and class, but it’s been too long now, tough to pick him up.

I would but my account got lost near the end of wrath. I faction swapped but kept the class and spec.
I haven’t played WoW since Cata. I tried a new main during that xpac to see if it would reinvigorate my interest in the game. It didn’t.
This is her, she didnt really get to experience all that much of Vanilla wow only got to level 30-40 or so before BC dropped.

Same here. Whatever is this “still”? I don’t “still” anything in WoW because I haven’t played it since mid-Cataclysm.

Yep. Only change was a new face when they upgraded the dwarf models. (Problem with short races is that the “little girl” theme gets played up more, which can take up too many options in the character creator. I was pleased with the upgrade as it had the more serious vibe I wanted.)

On the actual topic of this thread.
This rogue was my original main. Its physical appearance (hair, markings, etc.) have never changed (if we don’t count the character model upgrades). I have played my Paladin a lot more throughout the past 14 years but the paladin was my alt back in vanilla, almost capped 60 before TBC launched and then it became my main through the majority of the past 12 years. This rogue and that paladin will be remade for vanilla. Best race for min-maxing? Hahaha nope. Little extra stealth won’t hurt for BRD pickpocket farming though. Nostalgia out the wazoo? Oh yes. When I was a 13 y/o teenage boy I did not care about min-maxing, i just wanted to play a night elf female… for some reason.

I have a few alts but this dude has an obscene amount of time /played just in Vanilla, BC and Wrath.
Tempting to remake him to be honest
This is my main. I swapped to a Blood Elf Paladin in TBC and played that into WotLK. Rolled a Worgen Hunter for Legion to try something new. I may have played those characters more recently, but I still consider this my main.
