quit the game and deleted all my characters to make sure id never feel the pull to come back and try it.

Sometimes you gotta go with the nuclear option. I hope classic doesn’t bring you to that point.

It was i think legion i went nuclear. I deleted because I had hated what the the game had become and didnt want to fool myself into coming back next expansion.
