Pretty easy, just look up the top musicians in 2004-2006

I don’t follow bands/artists, I just take each song individually. So no one in specific for me, my playlist will probably be made up by as many artists as songs. However, from what I remember from old videos, there was a ton of Linkin Park so I think a lot of people liked them back in the day.

I listened to a lot of Rush and Pink Floyd back then. Still do now.

I used to listen to Rhapsody a lot, in 2006 they had to rename the band Rhapsody of Fire. It’s basically power metal with fantasy setting.

I think I had sportscenter or a game on a tv behind me the whole time and it was kind of before streaming music and after mp3s. Kind of dead era for music. Maybe that’s how Nickelback happened.

2004-2006 it was probably Necrophagist. I really liked them then (still do). Onset of Putrefaction and Epitaph are amongst my favorite of all albums.

Then I got into Benighted. Icon is up there for my favorite albums too.
