Do you really trust Blizzard for Classic+?

I’ve seen a lot of people hyping the possibility of Classic+ being announced in the upcoming Blizzcon. But let’s be honest, do you trust the same Blizzard that gave us WoD, Shadowlands, the WoW Token and the Cash Shop to properly make justice of an alternative expansion?

Maybe if they let the folks that made Nostalrius or some other private server helm the project, it’d do well.

No faith in the folks that made DF, or BFA, or SL.

It’d have to be someone that loves, and plays, Classic, and that’s none of the retail folks.

Lmao no

Cant trust them with current wow

Classic +is a literal pipe dream and no matter what they attempt a good chunk of whoever is still playing classic will be alienated. Might as well just not

Classic+ always felt like cope now that Wrath is wrapping up, and the only options left are Cata and Start Over.

Don’t exactly trust them, but Retail has been clearly dying, meanwhile focus is ever-increasing in Classic. If Blizzard didn’t have a history of “We know better than the players”, we’d likely see some more serious investment into the better versions of the game.

Much like Jagex taking a while to understand their over-monetized dumpster game couldn’t compete with their original product, it will take Blizzard’s investors an even longer time to green-light an emphasis on Classic development, such as Classic+. Maybe Microsoft will green light it, who knows.

But if we look at Runescape’s history, after they caved and supported Old School with an active development team, it transitioned from “Side project that will die in 6 months” (They actually stated that) to having 3X the population of RS3

Can someone explain to me what this is?

Players keep talking about it, but I have no idea what this entails…

People have some weird imagination that them creating an alternate universe start from Classic onwards will fix and save WoW somehow cause ‘theyll make the right choices contrary to belief’ basically, example Ogres for Horde and High Elves to Alliance instead of Blood Elves and Draenei being one of them.

These people are honestly deluded thinking it’ll work out well, dont get me wrong the idea in itself is solid, but the people who will execute it will royally F it up given the state of Shadowlands and BFA, and those problem makers are still in the company.

I trust them to add end Wrath and add Cataclysm because they do not understand the basic reasons why people wanted Classic in the first place.

honestly I wouldnt trust blizzard to not play in a pile of wet dog droppings at this point
