Nope, never been a fan of it if I am to be honest.
Just to collect, though I haven’t been doing it lately. Might get around to PvP pet battles if I ever really want the achievement points but eh.

nope. i just pet-battle random pets, and the npcs.

I pet battled up until the timeless isle and the impossible match-ups there lead me to quit.
Putting muffy the scottish terrier up against pet demigods seemed really stupid.

I collect Battle Pets, (slowly) do the quests and Achieves, and catch them via battles in the wild, but I never battle other players.

Wowhead has a really good guide to the Celestial Tournament if you still want to chip away at it.
There’s obviously some work on the front end to get (and level) the specific pets needed, but that process is much easier these days with all the battle pet stones/upgrades.

I think I looked into PVP pet battles a long time ago and won a few rounds, but everyone was just using the same team off of wowhead or something. I lost interest pretty quickly.

The pvp battle were a bit interesting when a lot of people were trying to do the pvp family pet battles in Legion. Outside of that I don’t really do them.
I wish I could get into it as I do enjoy my pokemons and SV was a banger imo.
I like collecting pets. I only pet battle whenever I get the strong fixation of grinding achievements 
The NPC quests, world quests yeah I do those - PVP I never have because it’s all just the same pets
I did the PvP battles until I faced Lil’ Ragnaros six times in a row.
Now I do the regular battles when I feel like it, and take the time to do the World Quests.
I’ve been meaning to get Baa’al for quite some time, especially since he’s part of the Waist of Time secret unlock.

I pet battle plenty. But not against players. The pet battle pvp queue system has had completely borked MMR for many years now. Not even worth trying.
Idea for Blizzard: Whenever they release Classic Expansions, turn one of the raids or dungeons into a pet battle dungeon with cosmetic rewards
I enjoy collecting them and doing world quests (when it’s not some overpowered pet). I don’t really level them anymore though. It gets boring pretty fast.
I did it in order to get all the pets out in the World up to Draenor I think, and then stopped.
Next time I get bored, I plan to look at it again.
