Do you not play a class…

Because you know someone IRL who plays(ed) that class and you really don’t like that person?

To this day I haven’t rolled a Warlock due to this.

No. I don’t hold grudges like that. Actually, I don’t hate anyone IRL. So this doesn’t even apply.

Sounds unhealthy and weird.

For the almost 2 decades that I’ve played WoW on and off, i’ve literally never encountered another human IRL that plays WoW.

Nope. I just remove the person and keep playing what I want and like.

My life has no place for petty simple issues like that. I’ll play whatever I like whenever I like, regardless of who does what. If I gave something up every time somebody else I didn’t like did it, I would stop eating driving and living. :+1:t2:

Oh, yeah, this. An irl friend got me into it when we were like 14 but he quit by the time i got to westfall. Only other time i even heard a mention of WoW was like 3 people at the cafeteria at college that I overheard one time.

Nope. If I viewed classes, or anything in life, like that: I’d be left with nothing whatsoever.

No, that doesn’t translate itself to me not playing a specific class.

I either don’t care for how the class plays, or I don’t like it’s fantasy vibe.

Man thats silly, you guys get influenced so easily

No one I know IRL, friend or foe, is willing to play the game at all.

Nobody playing this game has friends OP.

What the hell are you talking about?

For a while, yes but I get over it and go back to playing whatever I like. No point in letting someone I don’t like or speak to anymore ruin my game.

Exact opposite. I play my main resto Druid because one of the friendliest people I ever met was a great resto Druid. She no longer plays but I have mained that for 18 years now.

Its what you don’t do that controls you

Only after I took my toys and went home.

I have a very small group of friends that play the game with me.

And by group I mean 1 person.
And by friends I mean friend(?)ly.
And by play the game with me I mean doesn’t play with me anymore.

Anywho…I always imposed a self rule on myself when we did play together. That rule was to not play the same class. I would always try to play the class that complimented his the most so that he could have fun in PvP when we played

I’ve had 2 coworkers that play WoW. One of them was my manager, he said he played a Druid. But we didn’t really have any interest in playing with each other.

The other guy played SoD and I was kinda off and on with SoD. He wanted me to come roll on his server and level and raid and do all this and I was just like ehhhh, I’m not really trying to play SoD like that, I never even hit max level. I was just screwing around on it really.

I’ve not played a class because a friend was already playing it. Doubling up on classes isn’t ideal outside of a few moments. So to have more coverage I would roll something else, but never out of hate, more optimizing group comp.

Nah, life’s too short for this crap. Depending on the severity of the situation, I guess I could see it, but otherwise not really.

I’m in a similar situation like Gul’dan where the Elements wouldn’t taken Gul’dan, but the Fel Magic would. I’m the opposite of that. Where the Elements and Nature’s energy would take me, but not Fel Magic. Which why i don’t play Warlocks, Dks, and Shadow Priest.

I don’t care for the light, so i don’t play a Paladin and a holy Priest. A Disc Priest will be ok because it has both dark and light energy.
