I’m just curious how far some people will go to have a sick mog. Do you match your weapon with your armor or do you only match up the armor and go with a weapon you just think is cool regardless of color?
i have to match it always my ocd commands it and if i can’t find a good match for my weapon i will just go with a dull classic transmog for me its all about the weapon
Yes I do! I like this hunter set and I don’t want to ruin the look because of my weapon. I was worried that I wouldn’t find something to go with it, but then boom! The legion artifact existed and I was very happy about it.
i use warglaives of azzinoth. And fel tattoes with hidden torso.
Honestly, on the toons I play most often, I make the weapons as unobtrusive as possible. On my rogue, for example, who is an Outlaw, I have her wearing swords that are tiny dagger-looking things, barely visible so they don’t break up the line of her outfit.
On both my Druid and my Hunter, I use weapons that are small and similar in color to the armor they’re wearing.
So…I do color coordinate the weapons, but not to highlight them. I do it to camouflage them so they don’t take over.
I’m definitely not a “sick mog” person. I’m more of a, “would this person actually wear/use this?” mogger. LOL
I usually try to keep my weapons in the same color spectrum as my gear if it’s a big, flashy weapon. If I’m using a very plain looking weapon then color usually isn’t as big an issue.
Look at me, i’m frickin’ fabulous.
EDIT: i’m gonna redact my statement, i logged out as Resto i think and I don’t have my set on.
I’m running around as a white owl cat about 90% of the time, I don’t see my weapons.
I try to…heck I even changed my facial hair and the hair on my heads color
Of course. I went through the ordeal that is the artifact Balance of Power questline and timing a 15 key specifically so my weapon will match my armour.
Haven’t done the mythic 15 part but yeah one of the reasons I like using my current weapon mog is just after going thru all that work you damn right I’m gonna show it off
The weapon has to match or it doesn’t count. Bonus if the pets fit the theme as well.
My main is my outlaw rogue, and she is color coordinated all the way, with the Dreadblades.
On my shaman, I try to pick shields and weapons that match each other rather than my outfit. I haven’t done much xmog farming on Spreckle because of the lack of AoE making it take forever.
why stop there, make the mount fit too.
respec Elemental, drop magma totem, earthquakes and chain lightnings, ez.
I match my weapons to my tabard. (Obviously this set is a bad example.)
I like having a tabard that off sets my main mog with a different color, then match my weapons to the tabard.
A lot of times yes, just because I want the whole look to mesh well. But occasionally I have a character who has a specific weapon they carry for their RP story so if it clashes, it clashes, that’s their signature weapon.
i typically try to match color, race and class together
so for like vulpera they are limited on what actually looks ok on them some of the weapons for example are 4x their size, so i have to think about that when i go to transmog weapons
Ok relogged it should load my elemental set:
Skybreaker and Rehgar’s Legacy, the best combination in game.
I switched green fire back on for this xmog, so you tell me.
